Not sure where but I think it is 1975, looks more like life on Mars, never been to sellyoak mind you, so I may be correct.

That's really strange. I worked at University of Birmingham Halls of residence in May 1975. Last night I was searching out old diaries to pinpoint the date of United's appearance on the Quiz show (Quiz Ball?) as featured in the Old Photographs thread and came across all my old notes from May 1975.

I'm on a roll so tonight I'll try and dream about the Blades beating Walsall 4-0.

There's a Selly Oak on Jordanthorpe. Granddad is that you? What you doing on here ya piggy bastard cunt features,

I'm on a promise tomorrow so I will be dreaming tonight as well, might fit the blades into the dream as well.hope its not wet......tomorrow

Saturday morning update.

No snow overnight 10-11 miles away.

If it is of, it will be for a frozen pitch, not snow.

No news on blades site or walsall site or on sky/bbc of a pitch inspection so must be fine.
I'm sure they would wait until we were at least halfway there before calling the game off. I remember an away game at Peterborough, we were at the motorway services when it was announced the game was off.

The other big match today HAS been called off. HBJnr won't be playing for Stratford Town U16's today due to frozen pitch. Having said that, I've just taken the dog around the park and I think the postponement was a bit premature, the ground is softening and would take a stud. I think we'll be fine for this afternoon and now I don't have to rush up the motorways to Walsall. :)
