Why are we waiting until the 5th October transfer deadline day to sign a striker when we needed one 3 games ago? Could have made the difference today. Tough run of fixtures coming with no points on the board.

They just like to tease us. We could have had Messi and Lewandowski signed up in August but Chris just want to give us a huge boost before the international break.

Money is the answer!
I know but I can't see Brewster or any of the other suggestions getting any cheaper the nearer we get to deadline day. We'll still have to spend big. Meanwhile we're dropping points. Not a criticism of Wilder. It's a criticism of the board. As CW says he needs help. The Prince has to step up.

So we haven’t got the money.

Ah yeh cos we're waiting. Just seeing how things pan out cos we've got a bit of time.

Do you really think we haven't been trying?

Trying is all well and good. We need to make something happen transfer wise even if it’s not our first choice. Be 10% of the season gone after arsenal.

If we had brought a new striker in, maybe he takes the penalty lundstram missed and just maybe he finishes a chance off today. It’s fine margins but we Aren’t going to score enough as it stands (that much is clear).

We aren’t going to have moose’s purple patch to get us points this year either as he’s out long term.

What I'm pissed off about is that if it's taken this long to get Brewster (for whatever reason) why haven't we moved on to other targets with whatever money we do have.

Brewster isn't the only possible forward we can bring in. Get the deal done in next few days or move on. There are plenty of players out there who would jump at the chance of coming to United, would be quick and mobile and would do us a very good job. Each game that slips by without bringing anyone in is potentially costing us points now. Get someone in ASAP United as it's obvious that we are lacking up top.
