In Hecky's press conference to Radio Sheffield last night he was a lot more frank about the position the football club has been in over the last year.

Don't think we'd had entered admin given out saleable assets - Anel, Ndiaye, Berge, McBurnie would have been sold and probably more. Egan, Norwood, Baldock, anyone we could get a fee for. We wouldn't be in a position to pay their wages even if they wanted to stay. We'd have looked to sign lower league players and free agents as replacements. There would have been redundancies among the non-playing staff as we looked to reduce our outgoings to a bare minimum. We'd have had a tough job retaining our status as a Championship club next season, and could well have been relegated.
