Currently showing why you need to play attacking football in the Prem. The fact that we've been so far ahead of them for the past few seasons makes it more annoying. We need to take note! Villa beating Liverpool 4-1 FFS, while we've only scored 1 all season. A midfield that attacks...
Disagree. Bogle is quality, Lowe is quality (on what we've seen) yet manager chooses his faves. That's the issue. Not the players, the manager refusing to let go of the "old guard"They have done something we have not bought quality over quantity.
The only real quality we have purchased is Brewster.
I doubt what we’ve spent is that much different to how much villa have we might have spent more
I do think the lack of fans is hurting us badly the games seem to be like behind closed doors friendlies hence our lack of drive and energy. In a game where there is no physical contact or tackling then technical ability comes to the fore and that is one area where we are lacking compared to most, I can see Burnley and West Brom struggling too this season. The game needs FANS IN THE FECKING STADIUM!!
You mean the whole 300million or are we just talking about the change?
To quote that awful phrase. Defensively minded teams like us DO “get found out” eventually.Currently showing why you need to play attacking football in the Prem. A midfield that isn't afraid of the ball would be a startCurrently showing why you need to play attacking football in the Prem. 4 games. Today was one game. It’s not a season and to be honest comparisons with other teams are just daft at times like thisIf we keep playing as we have done today, we certainly aren't OK as we are. We have to create more and we have to be more progressive. I'm not advocating wholesale changes, massive change in style, anything like that. This isn't a post of panic, more of disappointment because we know we can do so much better but we to have lost the plot somewhat going forward. You can't argue with one goal and one goal only so far this season unfortunately.
Are you on crack?
We've spent about £45-51m, Villa have spent twice that.
Martinez 20m
Cash 16m
Watkins 33m
Barkley 11m loan fee
Traore 17m
No but why couldnt we have played Liverpool or Man U today ?![]()
Villa can pay big wages we can’t.
They’ve also bought quality players in to improve their starting 11 we haven’t

Rubbish. Playing the poster not the post here.Clearly just trolling now. Not sure what kind of kick you get out of posting controversy for reactions on the internet, but then again I have a life so that probably explains it
