Meh. I can’t even remember why we don’t like them now.

Another team from another country that have been allowed permission to exist in our leagues. Enjoy the win.

Why did they “thoroughly” deserve the win? Both teams were open as anything. Arblaster scores and that pen is rightfully not given and it’s 4-4. Not to say we should’ve won, but I’d argue that they should’ve done, let alone thoroughly.
 
Ahahahaha. They got to say that they'll stick that in the documentary, in return. That means that they won at football. 4eva. IDDST.

They were better in both halves. More shots, better XG, more corners, more possession, more time spent in our half. You'll not find a stat to suggest we deserved a draw. We might have got it back to 4-4 but we'd have walked away with a lucky point

xG of a pen is around 0.8. I just don’t think they thoroughly deserved that win. It was an even completely open game which either side could’ve grabbed. Maybe agree to disagree.

Fair play. Maybe I'm being harsh but I always felt like they were in more control. If we'd have got it back to 4-4, I'd still expect us to lose. I think if was a team who knew how to manage game against one that hadn't a clue. Going 3-1 up and losing 5-3 against such a nothing side suggests we don't know how to win games that don't completely go out way

Yeah I’m totally with you there. For ref I watched the game on record just now. Meant I could flick back and watch things again a bit. I think either team could’ve won it really. Draw a fair result. But I can’t pretend I thought we would’ve deserved a win. Nor when we were sitting 3-1 up would I have expected it to stay that way if I’d have flicked forward to the end. The way we play is just far too open. I don’t give Wrexham credit though for thoroughly deserving anything.

The stats are overwhelming in their favour. Every metric has them on top.

XG, possession, shots, shots on target, touches in opposition box, passes, passes completed, pass accuracy, successful passes in last third, crosses, duels won, tackles, headers...even Wilder said they thoroughly deserved their win.

See my other post. Maybe I will on reflection tomorrow. But having gone through a couple of re-runs this evening, I don’t think they did thoroughly deserve anything. It was an open game which either side could’ve won for me.
 
Look on the bright side, we've given the lads in North Wales a lovely Christmas present and we've given those unlucky fans of that team in Sheffield 6 something to have a good laugh at.

Now, doesn't that make you feel better.
 
Just put things into perspective for all those Yankee Doodle Disney types out there…This really is like the Washington Generals finally beating the Harlem Globetrotters…I guess this one deserves its own three part spinoff mini series.

Before each of their second half goals I said... they'll score in a minute. It's too predictable and we know its coming because of how soft we are in possession and at the back. On that showing, the CBs want shipping out. We need leaders in the team. Tanganga isn't a leader. Bindon is soft as. The keeper should be coming out for crosses in his 6 yard box. The Moore header to make it 2-3 is a keepers ball all day long.

I wasn't even annoyed/upset/pissed off with the outcome last night, because the back 4/5 aren't fit for purpose.
 
That old chestnut they wanted it more than us ! Very true in this game to a man they put a shift in.
Can Harmer and Chong say that ! they were AWL the rest i thought had a go those two were shocking and thats the story of Hamers season .
