It's giving me the Pigs of League One vibes too... "Oh we were never really bothered anyway, and they played a strong side, as much as they'll try and deny it, and anyways, let's get back to smashing this tinpot league that were entitled to promotion from".

humility
noun
the quality of having a modest or low view of one's importance.

God I cant wait for them to finish 13th in League 1. Maybe then media et al will shut up about them

I fully expect Wrectum to finish top 10 this year. Even if they don't go up in the next few seasons, I expect them to eventually reach the Premier League. Wrexham's owners will have big money contacts who will be more than happy to chuck money at the 'fairytale journey to the promised land'

Wrexham will make it to the Prem, but the current owners don't have the finacial clout themselves - they will get investment though, I'm sure of that.

Cheers Panchero!

He sold his mobile company for over a billion last year, and has many fingers in pies bringing in more money 💰.

Should try and get him to jump ship lol.

Jesus Christ, I don't recall any of them saying it was a glorified friendly before kick off, plus they won't be playing us next season, we will not get relegated

Also wilder made a career out of set pieces? We are fucking shite at them and always have been

75% utter bollocks.

And talking of flags, there were two Ireland flags at the bottom of the South Stand last night.

Hopefully not our fans in support of McClean.

"A goal that barely went in". Also known as a goal.

Disliking a club for buying success, does not equal them living in your head. See also Blackburn, Chelsea, Man City, Salford City, Rushden, Colne dynamos etc

He's from Northern Ireland ;)

That always puzzles me. Parkinson said in his post match whinge that we have always been great from set pieces. Just seems to be a default line whenever a team concedes from a corner.
Don’t do throw-ins though

I know that but his allegiance is quite clear. I might be wrong but we no longer have any Irish players in the team with Curtis out at Peterborough, so just thought it odd to see two tricolours on the South.

Was this one from Phil Parkinson himself?

“The final score is very generous to the blunt blades. An own goal, a goal that barely went in and a goal after blatant encroachment to put a saved penalty in.”
That barely went in, that's what the wife says but if it crosses the line then in my mind I've scored, she can't expect me to hit the back of the net every time

I got a fucking puppy. I have NOT been looking at what you think I have

I went browsing the wasteland of Reddit to supplement this one with views from a certain type of fan. Hope you don't mind, Roy.

"As an American I'm still struggling to understand the point of these. I know the FA Cup can bring home some money for the club but besides that is there really a point?"

"We’re not a champions league club yet, so this is alright"

"What’s the difference between this and the FA?

Like do teams care about these tournaments or do most just focus on league play?"

"Please don't chastise me Welsh and English folk but wtf is the point of subbing in starters at the end of the match?? Should play this to win so Sheffield doesn't think they're hot shit"

"How can they use the goal line technology, but not the VAR for the last goal?"

"I also assume because it's a first friggin round of the FA Cup so whatever lol"

"Oh shit I thought it was FA Cup! Well there you go, haha"

"FYI, for those who don't know. Auston Trusty has played off and on for the USMNT."

"My dumb American brain thought SU had a knight called "Sir Ricky" for maybe 10 seconds when announcers were saying his name."

"At the end of 90 if it's a draw, extra time? PK's? A game at the other side's home?"

"I missed the part about Wrexham having a bunch of changes too."

Proper set of fans.

This is amazing and I think it needs to be done by every team that plays Hollywood FC
