Wilder always makes me feel slightly better about losing - as he tells it like it is, and doesn’t hide. Great interview. Sounds like he gave the players the bollocking they deserved.

Long coach ride home, and I don't think he's getting the beers in tonight!

Fair to say they’ve had a full bollocking in the dressing room, just short of unacceptable.
Straight to the point says it how it is in an interview lasting just over 8 mins, scroll to the bottom of the page and there is a link for the interview with Carlos lasting ........................ wait for it 13 mins to say fuck all.
You gotta love Wilder.

Baldock is the key for me. It would mean Basham would retore spirit and determination to the heart of defence.
I really really hope we haven't been guilty of complacency against lowly opposition in our last 3 games.
Or maybe the pundits were just simply right.

I'm going to go against the grain slightly here and say whilst it wasn't one of our better performances, I don't think it warrants such criticism.

I appreciate we're in strange territory where some of those who don't like people criticising the team, now don't like people praising the team if Wilder isn't happy with them.

I'd like to think this last week or so has just given a reality check to those fans who've already wiped their spunk covered cock on the curtains, and we can all just appreciate how well the staff and players have done, whilst acknowledging this league is still no push over even if it's not La Liga like the pigs made out.

We've inevitably now got some big clubs closing up behind us, whilst the top 2 have opened up a gap.

Whilst we're all entitled to judge individual performances and have opinions, please let's just continue to trust the management and players.

I listened to it and that 13 minutes seemed like 90

Noticed crosses bash put in and no one there, would Billy have been? Seemed to play just Leon up front.

Wilders not fannying around.

Top bloke.

Thought I might have a tough Monday morning but it will be a walk in the park compared to those who work at SUFC.

How does he get through an interview without f'in an geff'in?

I could put the relevant expletives in to a transcript. All we know is he's not appeh.

Probably the only manager in the football league to admit his own team were not good enough and then pay the opposition full credit for their win.

Honest as the day is long that bloke. 100% respect.

Whereas Carlos couldn't lie straight in bed.

CW only has to remind most of the players where they've come from - four-figure crowds in tin-pot stadiums. Do they want to go back there?

No hiding, no excuses. That's our Chris. Exactly what we needed.
Agreed. But will be interesting to see if he can act as he speaks. He has in the past but I'm not sure we have the depth at the moment to make changes.

Too many of the ones who came in aren't ready for first team football (Henegan,Thomas ) or are injury prone (Evans, Baldock, Stearman, Donaldson)

Thomas and Henegham were unlikely to play much of a part and we all knew that.

It is not fair to say 'imjuty prone'. James Wallace was injury prone,Stearman and Donaldson both picked up ONE injury each.Would you say Coutts is injury prone for the same reason?

Not the end of the world and we move on.

We are suffering from the lack of investment in the summer. Too many of the ones who came in aren't ready for first team football (Henegan,Thomas ) or are injury prone (Evans, Baldock, Stearman, Donaldson) so now we need to fill gaps or change things we don't have the strength in depth.

Of all the permanent signings there's only Stevens who's played regularly, although Lundstram is starting to establish himself.

This has to be rectified in January otherwise as injuries and suspensions mount we will struggle to maintain a challenge

What a load of bollocks, nothing new from you though is it,?

Good summary from CW, it was a performance that lacked discipline, too many doing their own things and as a result weren't on the same wavelength. Defensively that was as poor as I've seen for some time, Millwall caused problems, but problems we should have been able to handle. The first goal was bad to concede, the second a Sunday League shambles.

I also thought we were really slow in possession of the ball in the second half in particular. We had plenty of chances to break quickly and get behind a slow Millwall backline, but elected to keep the ball, slow it down and as a result they could setup defensively and we couldn't break them down. We showed in the first half that you could get crosses behind them and no one gambled or even got close to the ball. Perhaps Sharp would have?

For all the ball we had from 46-65 minutes, how many times did their keeper have to do anything? I can't remember one shot he saved. Just lots of side to side buck passing before a hopeful shot from distance which were all awful.

I'm not too down though, who wouldn't have taken 37 in 20 at the start of the season? I'm looking forward to the reaction on Friday night, should be a cracking game. UTB!

For those of you who were there, were there any boos or negativity from the fans at the end, or was the reaction decent?

I stayed till all the players had left the pitch, did not hear any boos toward the team ,obviously there was some fans upset at the result but personally speaking I saw non directed at the players or management,

That's good. On the stream I was watching, which cuts out soon after the final whistle, it looked like only a few players started coming over towards the fans and quickly turned back. I would hate to think we'd started being negative already.
