Some weird comments, but for poor finishing we should have won 3 or 4 nil. They were never a threat at all. I’d consider that a belly tickling if it happened to us. They made some weird subs as well, brought the 2 on near the end for a forward player and he looked terrible.

i don’t always buy into it but xG stats of 2.49 - 0.09 is about as one sided as you can get. They did try and break quickly when they had the ball but it was all a bit toothless and ended in losing possession or a hopeful cross.

Makes you wonder how bad they are in other games if they think it was back and forth!

Wigan..... a team that isnt fit to lace our boots...... (historically speaking) but have won the FA cup in living memory......

still a flys skidmark on the wall of football history and shouldnt be any higher than L2 tbh.

probably the best side to ever emerge from non league, who have put us in our place a time of two. I would say that they are a far better side than that shower across the city but look like exchanging places with them.

Their tactic seemed to be make a few passes at the back then hit it to Fletcher for him to fall over. Then they brought Magennis on who’s somehow worse than Fletcher

I like Wigan. They were a hardworking honest bunch with a bit about them. They put themselves around a bit but it was never nasty. In fact, the only bad challenge was one of Norwood's terrible ones. That lad really struggles coming off the bench. I hope Wigan stay up.

One said they had a lot of chances, I can only think of one, another said that of all our chances the one we scored was poor, I can only assume that was from their perspective, because I thought is was an excellent goal, mcatee did brilliantly well. And i also think it wasn't them keeping the score down, it was us, because that should've been at least 4 nil.

If those two crosses had been a few inches lower we could have lost that game, fine margins and all that but teams with a bit more quality will punish us.
