They were marginally better than I thought really although without the ref & the fluke deflection I still think we would have come away with all three points. The game showed us that our biggest opponent this season is our painfully thin squad depth, as the spine of our team were not able to play for various reasons.

If I was a WBA , Coventry , Sunderland , Leeds , Boro fan I would be scratching my head why Utd are top. We really must start turning up in the first 20/25 mins -

I'm getting déjà vu from Hecky's promotion season. We won a lot of games but for a large part of the season we looked nothing special. All the other teams' fans scratching their heads as to why we were right up there.

Yet we got 91 points - more than Warnock and Wilder achieved.

Individual quality is what we have and they can turn it on in an instant which is the frustrating part at times.

We showed that yesterday we scored two goals in 2 minutes away at the Hawthorns against a team that are tough to beat and baring a ridiculous fluke we would. Have won with a weakened team.
