Only one of those comments mentioned that we were missing our main starting players:

Souttar
Anel
Arblaster
Moore

Me thinks the only real chances that they had were crosses and corner chances, I'm confident if Souttar, Anel and Moore had played then they probably wouldn't have scored their first or even had many chances at all. They played to our weaknesses with those players missing so fair play to them.

It will be a different result at our place in a few weeks time. I'm going for a 2-0 win in the return fixture.

Some of our first time passing is delightful to be fair, and we certainly are hard to beat. We haven't hit the heights of some of the thrashings we gave out two years ago, but we look equipped to keep churning out results nevertheless.

Why do these teams seem reserve their best performance for us, and if that is like these comments are alluring to then you have to feel sorry for them.

We had 4 of our starting 11 out missing and still matched them, these need to realise they only got a draw because of poor defending from a corner leaving a free runner and Burrows trying his best to re-enact a traffic cone - with a massive deflected cross that looped over out keeper.

Oh and the fact the referee sleeps in wba pj's in his wba bedding.

By their own admission they played the best they have all season, and we were missing 2 centre halves, 1 centre midfielder and captain and our main striker, and at one time had 3 u21 players on the pitch with a further 2 on the bench, so all in all we did well and quite frankly if wba have designs on being a top side they need to beat teams like this, especially at home

The incident when the ref intercepted the pass from O’Hare (I think it was) and then gave them the ball back 30 yards out was quite something

Thought a point was a fair result to be honest. I don’t remember sat thinking it was only a matter of time before they got a winner, more that it could go either way

19 times out of 20 their equaliser does not go in. They had a huge slice of luck with that.

Both sides had chances to win it. If they cannot see that a draw was a fair result they are as deluded as our neighbours.
