Just wanted to drop in to offer my views from the opposition.

Thought it was a tense nervy match overall with no side doing enough to win it. No-one really had much control of the game for a period of time.

I was nervous when you had a run of corners towards the end.

You look a really good side. For man of the match I'd have gone for Norwood or Hutchinson to be honest.

Not appy, pigs doing a nil nil double win on us. Highlight of their season :(

It's amazing how many of them talk on Twitter about their league cup win and their top flight glory days then you look at their profile picture and they're clearly no older than 18

Remarkable to think it’s been 7 years since they’ve seen their team win a derby and yet they don’t view Monday at all as a missed opportunity for getting one over us. There will be plenty of their younger fans yet to actually see their team win one of these, or too young to remember much about the last one. I think we’re up to 8 home draws in these since I became a fan, and the only one I can ever recall leaving happy from was the one where Beattie equalised late on to rescue what had been a 2-0 deficit. But even that was shortlived as pretty quickly it hit home that this was a missed opportunity to make up for that abysmal performance and result under Robson at theirs.

Not reading the views to be honest Roy, it'll be very one-sided and probably say the same stuff as a mate did last night. Stuff like they made us look average, they shut us down and he thinks they can make a push for 6th. If any team plays as defensively as they did then its always going to be tough. Derby games are also notoriously tense and don't generally produce good football and that was certainly the case on Monday.

One thing I always notice whenever I have a visit to Owstalk, which is usually when they've lost for a laugh, is that they certainly have this superiority attitude and view us as the scum of Sheffield. Never got this, and it perplexes me why they think they're superior. A lot of it refers to when we played them at the Lane and there were the incidents of objects thrown on the Wednesday fans beneath. No one can defend that, but that implies that they are better behaved and I don't see evidence for that either, having been to many derby games over the years.

I would be embarrassed to sing songs about Steve Bruce's daughter which many of their fans think is ok. Apparently, those that don't like that are snowflakes. No, it's just embarrassing and has no place in football.

I was in the home end - they were desperately calling for the whistle, they knew they weren't on top

I think most of that comes from them alleging we through bottles with piss on them.

Can’t really say whether we did or didn’t because I didn’t see it but you can imagine a bottle with a bit left in it being thrown and all of a sudden a bit of lager becomes piss.

That’s if any were thrown at all. I was sat in the corner and never saw nyyhing thrown. Stewards at the bottom of the stand facing the crowd and CCTV everywhere.

More likely their own nob heads chucking stuff from behind them at the back of the stand.

They’ve got previous for this but it’s more convient to blame us.
