They do really have big club syndrome and issues with us, racked with jealousy and bitterness
Such biased views of a poor match which actually they needed to win if they are thinking of trying to make the play offs but actually all they focussed on was stopping us playing
Their wage bill is probably double ours and they believe they are a still a really big club, unfortunately so many of them now living in the past, ticket prices will kill the next generation of fans as they are deterring fathers, sons and families from attending
I think they see the tide in Sheffield has changed since Wilder has arrived and really now can’t handle it, quite funny and sad for them in an ironic way really

I did notice quite a lot of empty seats in the home stands funny how there is no mention of a sell out crowd roaring them on. Obviously loads of their support must have been on the afternoon shift finishing at 10.00pm they will be mightily relieved to hear they got away with it again with a massive 0-0 against the dog & duck or is it Barcelona B ? Strange old world in south Barnsley.

You won't hear them crowing about the attendance last night, as the empty seats doesn't suit the propaganda laden delusional agenda that they keep banging on about with help from the local press.

Massive my hairy arsehole.

It's been said but the measure of all this was that classic thread when we got promoted from League One on Porktalk where they were calling us a pub team, Billy would get just 5 or 6 goals and the Champ was akin to La Liga.

Fast forward to now, the filthy swine haven't been above us in all that time bar one or two games at the beginning of the season. We've spent fuck all in comparison to them yet sit pretty in third with a very realistic chance of automatic promotion.

This is the metric we should all (even them) should use. How long have they rotted outside the Prem? They still haven't figured it out. Its criminal (funny) they are where they are - them celebrating their 0-0's against us whilst we treat them as losses shows our development and their implosion.

Oh and what was the swathes of empty seats on their Kop all about? They've shown on national TV what absolute shitcunts they really are and couldn't sell out a Sheffield derby.

Fuck me, I'd rather be a Blade than a pig in any reality but the reality we currently sit in we're so far ahead of them on and off the pitch they really have become as insignificant as Barnsley.

Cheers Roy. Gave up reading after the first 2 comments!!. They’re just deluded as we already know.
How embarrassing was it to see swathes of empty seats for a derby game!!!.
They’re just a joke of a club. Fuck em.
Let’s just concentrate on ourselves and the next 11 games. UTB

You'd think being 'bigger and better' they'd be more embarrassed about their lack of ambition in these games.

So it’s now official you can win a game 0-0

Remember a film called The Final Countdown about an aircraft carrier that goes through a "wormhole"? Well it's a similar concept when you go into S6. It is a strange version of reality that you enter.................

Even when we were shit and they were the cream of UEFA we never put ten men behind the ball and played for a draw against them

They've done it three times ,once at home

Have they got a collective IQ of a school of donkeys ? Their comments are straight out of the playground arent they ?

cheers Roy
weird how not one of them has mentioned the most obvious penalty not given to us !!
still don't understand that ! from the reply you can see the ref was staring at the incident the whole time!

I'm going to give the Wednesday team some credit, they nullfied us to the extent there was barely any football played until the last quarter of an hour.

That's it though isn't it?

It's been damage limitation for Wednesday in the last three derbies, all of which their fans have celebrated as 0-0 successes.

Three years ago we were marooned in midtable in the Pub League while they were 6th in La Liga and primed for glorious play off failure.

What a great testament to Wilder and Knill. In barely 18 months they turned it round to such an extent that all Wednesday can do these days is attempt to stifle the Blades. I saw no attacking method from them. They're already typically Bruceian, organised grafters staying in the game.

Congratulations Chris and Alan, in less than two years you've not only reversed the roles you've turned Wednesday into the Everton of South Yorkshire.

my 22 year old daughter said last night after reading some posts on facebook “what are they going on about, they’ve always been shit” and to her generation they certainly have, take out our 6 years in the 3rd tier and our league position and attendances prove that we have been the bigger better club over that time frame. Their demise and stagnation has been marvellous, I have no idea where this delusional grandour comes from, they have dads that haven’t seen them play antop flight game, they have only finished in the top 6 in the second tier twice in 20 years.......woeful, they’re shit and they k ow they are.

It's amazing how many of them talk on Twitter about their league cup win and their top flight glory days then you look at their profile picture and they're clearly no older than 18

Must be so embarrassing deep down knowing what they have become in comparison to us and how quickly it's happened.
They have no shame mate, never have.

Makes me cringe for them that they can be bragging about their ‘better’ players, posting victory songs and and what they are going to say to us after the game before a ball is kicked, but then they still get all giddy because they’ve manged to hang on for a glorious 0-0 draw (win) at home to their city betters. Embarrassing delusional fools with the collective memory of a goldfish.

I blame their dads and grandads. The poor chuffs have been lied to from birth and so lies, exaggeration and self delusion are just a way of life to them.

“How did that fat pig Sharp get through that game without a booking. What a dirty pig he really is. Built in his managers image.”

Idiot.

To be fair, I was surprised he got away with one, not because he deserved one cos everything called on him was pretty much a non-foul, but cos the ref blew that many times that he’d get one purely for them adding up

Clearly the ref himself knew they were all bollocks

We win our next two home games and that point tonight, alongside the win at WBA will look a good point. In the same way we got draws at mid-lower teams in the run in two years ago (at Rochdale and Oldham) that turned out to be good points in the end, we might look back and see tonight in the same way.

The game against Weds always looked as though it would be tricky one and I think we've ground a good point out tonight. Wilder I'd imagine will know that too.
There's no such thing as s good point against fucking Wednesday.

I'm interested to know which part of "making a late push for the playoffs" involves setting up for a 0-0 draw in a derby, at home?

"Tell you what, if by some miracle we did sneak into the play-offs I’d seriously fancy our chances."

What..... ffs i want some of what he's on.

Thanks Roy.

Hector made about 7 fouls and one of them was a pen. If ref gave a pen he'd have got a yellow and he could've quite easily seen another yellow on other days for persistent fouling. Ref was poor all around though. There could've been many yellows last night for both teams.

I think they should be grateful that the referee forgot his cards. Yes Billy may have been booked, but two or three of theirs could have seen red, not least Hutchinson who went straight through someone on the touch line, then after the ref blew for the foul he got up and went steaming straight through the next one. Or whoever it was who went studs showing halfway up someone’s (Dowell?) shin. Or Fletcher shoving Egan into Jack when he was nowhere near the ball.

Also great work from Sky going over and over how it was a penalty, then giving Hector MotM who would have cost his team the game had the referee done his job. Comedy stuff when they asked Hector about the incident after the game, after a long pause he swore, then told the interviewer he ‘almost swore’. Definitely a good fit for the intelligence levels in S6.
