We still have fans thinking they'll finish above us - and we like to think it's just them that don't have a grip on reality!
 
Ironically, Wednesday seem to rate their players based on their transfer fees and their performances for OTHER clubs.

Whereas, our players have generally been rejected by other clubs and therefore we only rate them on their performances in a blades shirt.

Not sure what point I'm making, but it could explain why they don't rate our players and why they think theirs are great, despite not performing for Wednesday?
 
if carling did derbies then that was a pretty good effort,form start to finish from flecks and duffys goals to the two gutted mascots ,priceless .we've worried them shitless today.
they've had their worst fears come true .
 
In the end, they have been able to enjoy the experience of not being behind in the game today for 3:55 seconds – within which time they've just about managed to warm up that awful band of theirs, and then later take part in an interrupted bounce session. Marvellous.
 
There really is an arrogance over as S6. Lots of the genuinely believe they are a big club.

Unfortunately, they've not been humbled by today. They need another lesson

They reckon an 80 year old woman was attacked by a blade outside the ground now. I said after the end of the game they'll be scouring social media for absolutely any incident , seems they couldn't find one so they decided to just make something up
 
How, HOW? do they think their players are miles better than ours? I just can`t get my head round this, who the fuck are their better players then?
Seriously someone tell me. Bannan and Fletcher and Hooper have had some Premier league experience but Fletcher didn`t do owt, Bannan, I thought was a decent signing for them as with Hooper but as for the rest, WHAT?

“united deserved the win, wednesday are clearly the better team and the officials were poor. the first goal wasnt a foul. there should have been a free kick in the build up to the second goal and the third goal clarke pushes van akens head down to get in. 4 minutes added time was a joke. lots of time wasting,

Thanks for that Roy. Made a great day even better. The grunters should read back what they have said. Maybe it will just about sink in how deluded they are. The best team won easily. They should be very,very embarrassed. They thought they were back in the game, undeserved, and got quite giddy for a full minute. What a set of plonkers.

Truth be told, they rarely got in behind, their crosses didn't beat the first man and the ones that did Blackman caught and was able to drop on top of and eat the clock down.

A perfect summation of what happened !

Wednesday fans if you are reading this, you should be embarrassed by your arrogance pre-match. I'm delighted that we beat you. I'd also invite you all to look at the league table and re-visit your theories that we were "up for this one more" because of Wilder. We're a better team, playing better football, with better, hungrier players. UTB!
