Perusing their forum, my favourite comment was one of theirs begrudgingly accepting we 'out-teamed' them, as if this was damning us with faint praise. Exactly what kind of game does he think was being played?

A lot of their fans genuinely believe simply buying a load of expensive players gives you the right to win games. Sad deluded idiots.

Glorious. Funny how they, along with other fans, don't seem to be able to accept that Wilder seems to have achieved the impossible - a group of players that are greater than the sum of their parts. Perfect qualities in the perfect positions, playing the perfect system and all for a fraction of the cost of the big boys.
