Standard thick pig bastard comments..

Deluded as always.

Kinda feel bad for how far away from reality they are.

Cheers Roy. I love it when you can read that they're not bothered but really are, it makes it sweeter. And when are they going to stop being a club 'in transition'? They've been using that excuse for years, and as a club they've been living in our shadow for so long I'm surprised they haven't all got fucking rickets.

In a Way I could almost understand them celebrating those nil nils a few years back like wins.. but trying to spin a defeat in a game where you didn’t have one single shot on target into a victory is absolutely comical.. one of the most bizarre and delusional view froms ever

“They really thought they were going to batter us”

Not according to any Blades I spoke to, but saying that softens the blow I suppose.
I didn't because I knew they would come and sit back in numbers, and we're crap at breaking down teams that defend deep in numbers. I predicted a boring 0-0 or a tight 1-0 because of their expected negative tactics.

One of the other reasons we didn't open them up as much was all the fouls, shirt pulling and throwing themselves to the floor under any contact that their players did all match. The inconsistent referee was constant blowing his whistle.

If I'm being honest it was 50/50 in the first half with both teams cancelling each other out in the final third. In the first 15 minutes of the second half we were clearly on top and dominating and it was inevitable that we would score at some point.

Their tactics and Wilder forced into playing a lone striker made it hard for us to break them down and create chances. If we'd played 4-4-2 then I reckon the game would have been totally different with more chances for us.

It's funny what some people see and want to believe.

Lots of ifs, ands and maybes from the deludeds.............we know what it's like to have a penny-pinching owner so that's no excuse.

We began in the same division, had the same opportunity for recruitment, so their problem if they can't attract a better class of player (or manager).
If that's the best that wendy have then I suspect they'll avoid relegation but their aspirations are so far behind the curve they'll need a diary for season
26/27 before they're to show any real improvement, and by that time meister-strategist Rohl may well have concluded 'vot iz dis?'

“Could you imagine if we had the chance to go joint top and were playing the pigs at home? Hillsborough would be deafening “

Bouncing one might even say! 🤣🤣 If anyone ever asks for the definition of cope - just show them these comments. Thanks your Royness.

The fortunes, financial and otherwise, of both clubs have ebbed and flowed over the years, but even when they were splashing the cash and we were scraping the barrel, I don't ever recall us celebrating 0-0s and narrow defeats in derbies like they do. It's quite bizarre. Derbies are for winning, by hook or by crook. They are ugly, scrappy and tense but you go out there and fucking compete.

They sound almost sorry and annoyed we didn't beat them by 6 goals.

As for avenging boxing day? Wtf. We pre-avenged boxing day with a 7-3 win (why do they never remember this?). We got a bit more from the hiding they got at the Bouncing Day Massacre of 17 (Followed by may I add three 0-0s where it was litrally like watching farmers trying to heard pigs into a pen. Wendies never had the intention of playing football and were running scared.) But I personally feel fully avenged, thanks for the concern piggies.

The 3 points you get from a 1-0 is no different though. So what's that now? 44 League wins to their 36 league wins. Fully avenged and justified I backed the proper Sheffield team. Maybe come back in 4 or 5 years time to see if that stat will change in wendies favour, but I highly doubt it. We've been on top of that all important stat for a good while. Just shows...

THE CITY IS OURS

I'd be curious to know how much looking Roygbiv had to do to collate such a bizarre & bitter collection of opinions from our porcine neighbours.

It was a drab performance from both sides. A draw would not have been an unfair reflection of a game that registered only a single shot on target (by us).

The cold hard truth that they refuse to accept us that they showed almost no attacking threat until their second half substitutions and even then, I don't recall Cooper having a save to make. Was it close? Yes. However we edged the game thanks to one moment of attacking quality in their box and for that, we were deserved winners.

The "deserved at least a draw" comment is tribute to the old saying that you cannot educate pork.

A truly deluded, classless bunch.

The match was the meat, but this is the relish

I see Wednesday won 0-1.
Thanks Roy, yeah the general consensus is we lost by winning 1-0 at home. A few fair comments by some (ie just accept the better team won) and with a good sprinkling of deluded comments on top.

We never expected to batter them. Its quite typical of how we are playing ie shots on goal but Campbell to score is just as important as the result. Plus I could hear our fans on the TV throughout the game.
