I’ve not met one person that thought we’d batter them. Expect to win yes. We’ve not scored more than 2 goals in any game this season so far, plus it’s rare a team wins derby games by a big margin. We had all the pressure on us, they played well 1st half we grew in to the game and took a good chance. Our defence is great and they forget we had a lot of youth players plus a free transfer assisted a free transfer for the goal. UTB

Love this. They have a total loser mentality nowadays:
  • 'At least we didn't get battered, lads'
  • 'I'll take a 1-0 defeat all day long'
  • 'Our boys did us proud today'
  • 'We looked OK at times'
It's absolutely embarrassing. It's like a League 2 team has drawn a Premier League team in the cup - they're happy to even be sharing a pitch with us.

All of them ignoring the fact that we're now 13 points clear of them (it's November), they have finished above us in the pyramid 6 times in 24 years, our stadium is miles better, our academy is streets ahead, we have more money, we get bigger crowds, and we have better (and younger) players.

It must have been a harrowing experience for the pigs yesterday. First they would've arrived in the stadium and realised it was on another level to their decaying 1980s rustbucket. Then they had to sit through a montage of their avalanche of derby defeats over the years. Then they had to sit there as we paraded players on the pitch (including one who used to play for them) who gave them an absolute pasting at their own place a few years ago. Then they had to sit through 90 minutes (in total silence) without a shot on target, with their team looking a bunch of hopeless, clumsy cloggers. Then they had to stay in the stadium whilst the home fans celebrated yet another win against them.

If that were me, I would mark it down as one of the darkest days of following my club. Not celebrating because we didn't get battered.

This is good. He even argues with himself at one point trying to convince himself they played well

OMG. How not to run a vlog. I must have nodded off a half a dozen times in the firts 30 seconds! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

They’ve just totally accepted mediocrity haven’t they? Evidenced best by the fact that they’ve been so passive about Chansiri running them into the ground and taking the stadium off them.

Keep hearing this 'we expected to spank them', did we really? All I was hearing was nerves and expecting it to be tight.

Favourites for the title? Are we? I thought we'd been predicted as top half, maybe playoffs.

Apparently they used the ball better?! Less possession, no shots on target.

Controlled the game without having much of the ball...! Lol

Wilder will be disappointed!

United scored more goals in the first 15mins so he new they were safe!

Calling Anel out for pulling their players shirt, when their player did the same, calling it dark arts

He said he didn't feel down about it a lot, doesn't come across as very happy about it

We haven't scored more than 2 goals in a game this season. We don't create loads of chances. Our success is almost solely on how good we are defensively. Anybody who thought we were going to spank them hasn't bothered to check our performances and results this season.

It's all copium though. They're upset and are desperately trying to convince themselves that we are upset too. Wilder didn't look disappointed last night. The fans didn't seem disappointed after the game. This forum don't seem disappointed this morning. It's all bollocks and purely their way of trying to cope with what happened yesterday. As the video above proves, it's not working.

To a large extent and with our recent form being what it is, I felt this derby came at quite an awkward time for us. We had the delight at Bristol and a very solid win at Blackburn. If given a choice, most Blades probably would have happily gone into the international break right there and then without the risk of a derby match. Anything but a win would have been a tricky momentum and mood killer at a time when our team just needs quiet and efficient motoring on until January…

We did not need an emotional pick up, but simply had to maintain our flow. You always dream of hammering them, but you know it hardly ever happens. The disparity in potential - at least for Blades fans I know - is more of a worry rather than an incentive.

So to win without a fuss in a shit game really is what the Championship is all about. It confirms what should happen 8 times out of 10. You adorn it for one night of glory with the joy any win over the Dirty Tramps always brings. But then it becomes just another stat.

For their fans to dress this non-event into a moral win while filming ten minutes with a slapped arse face is truly staggering. 😍

Their reaction is probably more memorable than the game itself because it confirms the assessment that us beating them by the odd goal is now an 8 out of 10 non-event based on current squad quality. Because they seem to feel or accept that the other 2 likely go against them even more painfully. Sweetness follows… 😂

Long may that last!!

Even after winning the derby I'm going to not read their comments as I can imagine the sort of stuff they'd say!

At the end of the day we won and it's 3 points nearer to promotion, that's the main thing. Beating Wednesday is no longer as satisfying as it was when they were decent but you have to go a long time ago to remember that 😂.

I'm jetting with the above, it's still amazing to win any Sheffield derby whatever the situation but when you're an underdog like it was back when we won 4 - 2 but any win in a Sheffield derby is always huge.

The very definition of tinpot?

Oh Dear wendyites your happy to lose 1-0 against your main rivals. I do not get the logic in that. No shots on target. Our Super Cooper had nothing to save. Any moment of quality came from The Blades. Your dirty captain should have been sent off for trying to cripple Arblaster .Shouting obscene chants against Chris Wilder daughters they was no need for that you lot are lowest of the low you wendy scumbags. You will never get in the premier league while you have that chairman of yours.Who i think is doing a great job for you.

Re Bannan and the Remembrance Day line ups before kick and bearing in mind what the thick little shithouse did later, it was a good job he was held back by his team mates as he was probably on his way the volley Blaster! But like the rest of the game the card apart, hardly got near him.

Face it Barry, it’s over.

(Keep draining Chancers purse though!)

Even my “sensible” Wendy mate was flirting with the side of stupidity yesterday saying it was a mistake in a game they were controlling that cost them. Showed him the zero shots on target and 37% possession and asked how that equates to “controlling” the game 😂. No reply so far.
Let them believe this shit. They are clearly hurting. Isn't 'denial' the first stage of grief?

The whole parachute team stuff is a load of bull - Luton are testament to that and so are we where we're running with a squad of about 20 players and took £15m in sales to fund the likes of Cooper, Burrows and some loan fees, not spaffing parachute money everywhere.

They're a weird bunch who find the tiniest crumb of something to latch onto to try and take the moral high ground rather than face into what they are, which is a lower end Championship club whose biggest claim to fame is a hideous disaster, a cup win that nobody under the age of 40 can remember and their star player attacking a referee. There has been nothing of note from them in getting on 25 years, not a cup run. They had their moment in the sun in the early 90's when they were a good side with Waddle, Walker, Hirst etc.

I get a blow by blow account from the pig side of the family about such things as (get ready to laugh)

How fantastic Chris Brunt is
That they have the best away support in the league
That they're a better supported club than we are.
What a genius Sausage Rohl is
They'd have filled the away end at Barnsley regardless of whether it was a shitty midweek EFL cup game.
What a great keeper Pierce Charles is
That signing Max Lowe was a coup for them and that its surprising that we didn't offer him a new deal (maybe because he's shite)
Bannan would start in our team
If they went up, they wouldn't go back down and players would be falling over themselves to sign for them (Leeds anyone?).
United are a team of hoofball merchants (based on Bassett's team from donkeys years ago)

This is good. He even argues with himself at one point trying to convince himself they played well

Apart from being as boring and morbid as they come he sounds so bitterly salty, he was really trying not to and it just came oozing out of him the longer he went on.

Love how he keeps referring to us been better at the dark arts and doing it more often. Clearly didn't see anyone their dirty antics, saying our goal shouldn't have been a freekick in first place and they had a nailed on pen. Delusional is strong in this one.

There will be a joint Radio Sheffield and Star appeal to raise funds so that any pig fans can have therapy to ease their PTSD after being subjected to the torrent of hurtful chants they might have heard about their manager. Any funds left over will go towards a safe space to be constructed at the sty where fans can go and cry if they hear any more hurty words.

After a day of listening to some absolute drivel and reading the idiotic comments from Wednesday fans on twitter, I've come to the conclusion that they are on a par with flat earthers. The same delusion that they are always right and better than us "globetards"/united fans. The same lack of knowledge about what they are talking about. And the same inability to accept facts despite being shown undeniable evidence. Can't believe I've never noticed before now.

It's actually laughable, if we lose 1nil at Hillsborough I guarantee 90% of us will be out the ground before any player even has a chance to come over. Small time tinpot wankers. I've always thought they are a very slightly bigger club than us but I'm really starting to change my tune on that these days. They are pathetic and it's absolutely brilliant.

This is good. He even argues with himself at one point trying to convince himself they played well

'I AM NOT UPSET ABOUT IT...............I'm not....really'! Not remotely upset ........at all. I'm proud, that's what I am.......proud! Not upset at all.......I'm not, not at all.

"No messages from my Blades' supporting mates cos' they know they were lucky"! No pal, you don't have any fucking mates and all the Blades were still drinking their beers with their 'actual' mates, you know, like 'real people who actually exist. 🤣🤣🤣

If that's him "not upset and not depressed" then what a miserable cunt he must be when he's gets really down.

They really are 'cooked and gone'. Brilliant.

That one guy complaining about the wages we're paying - someone reminds me how much Bannan is on (if/when they actually pay wages that is)
Think he gets a 10% commission on every 500 year season ticket they sell

their finding all sorts of reasons on porktalk for their defeat but its simple we won they lost just accept it as for whingeing about our parachute payments if they ever get to the prem they might get the chance of these payments weve earnt them by being in the premier league 3 seasons out of 5 their just jealous piggies and a million miles away from the top league utb ftp

As of yesterday, The singing of Swinging a Pig is apparently a call to violence and should be reported to SYP.

Who will need to arrest over 20k Blades who sang it yesterday.

Is there a more stupid fanbase anywhere?

Oh ffs. Unreadable shite.
