Wow didn't realise that they felt so bad.

"Enough is most certainly enough, but are most supporters willing to take a stand and stop attending (or walk out at half time)?"

"I think we're in a far worse state than anyone could believe. "

"Wednesday fans just don’t have the fight to stand up for something they love."

"Losing the best manager we’ve had in decades in the summer due to this negligence might actually be the wake up call for a lot who still remain accepting."

"I find it mind numbing that, at the time of voting, just over 4% of voters have voted NO!!! UNBELIEVABLE JEFF"

"When you look at how much needs investing into the team, stadium, training ground and general infrastructure then how can you possibly think a change isnt needed. "

And the 3% is probably mainly made up of cheeky Blades (and Chansiri Jnr)

Their best manager for a long time has a 0% record against us

I refuse to shop at Asda for two reasons

1) Mickey Mouse cup final shirt sponsor

2) Sells shit and is full of scrubbers

My lucky escape is that Pigs had no sponsor that season and Guinness and Asda were interested thank fuck it turned out how it did otherwise my principles would have been severely tested

I boycotted Presto too although I can't find one around these days, not to enter. As for the Co-op, tons of them that you will find me standing outside in protest. Here's hoping they never get sponsored by Thorn bridge, Abbeydale, Kellam Island, Tim Taylor's, Sam Smiths, or Farmers Breweries.

The sponsor on the roof is Presto Tools on Penistone Road (not the supermarket). It was owned by the McGee family and Bert McGee ( he of the begging letter to the FA after the Hillsborough disaster) was the chairman of Wednesday at the time.

Sorry to disappoint you...

Don't think there's much chance of Sam Smith's sponsoring anyone, though plenty of other good reasons to boycott them! I recommend Triple Point as a Blades-supporting alternative.

Thornbridge ales had been improving too. Ah well, plenty of other ales and pubs to choose from as well as my very own nanobrewery in my garden shed. I'll give Triple point a go, Not been in since it was the Sentinel brewery.

Reading those comments would be risible if the numpties who wrote them weren't so seriously deluded.

Weren't these the very same supporters who greeted big Chan by bowing in Thai homage? Didn't they show subservient glee and
presumption when they imagined a new age had dawned?

It's been said far too many times before, but they are so predictable and gullible in their fantasy of belonging somewhere that puts them on a par with clubs they feel are their equals. Given their poor infrastructure and even poorer leadership, they have slipped so far behind so many lesser clubs that to get a leg up will cost the buggers several arms and legs.

TBF, I like some of the Thornbridge ones, though they're not as easy to outside the supermarket ranges here in Leeds.

While looking at the Danny Rohl valuation bible that is transfermarkt it does come in useful to evaluating how little Wednesday’s squad is worth:

Starting value = 37m
Beadle - 5m
Charles - 10m
Sissoko - 1.5m
Net = 20.5m

That still attributes some 2.8m to Ugbo and 2.5m to Max Lowe.

Unlike United, it seems the vast majority of their squad are out of contract as well.

And those values are in Euros too so you can discount the 20.5m by 15% to about 17.25m.

They’re basically starting from scratch again next summer.

“United will never be anywhere close to where we once where in English football and so providing DC sells soon, we are not that far behind them.”

they have won one third rate pot in 91 years , when was this golden age of Wednesday then for any of us breathing
was it around them losing at forest green rovers ,

agree with Paul Scholes ,, get it scrapped

Where exactly were they ?
What exactly have they ever done to justify what they think of themselves?

The highest they have ever finished in the Premier League was 7th, and they've practically ended up bankrupt ever since, spending money they didn't have trying to be something that they are not, and more importantly trying to convince everyone else that they are something they are not.

Brighton finished 6th the year before last
Leicester have finished 1st and 5th recently
Wolves finished 7th in 2019
Burnley finished 7th in 2018
Bolton finished between 6th and 8th four seasons running in the mid 2000's

They have won a League Cup, a feat achieved by Oxford, QPR, Middlesboro, Birmingham, Leicester, West Brom, Swindon, Stoke City, Wolves, Forest, Luton, Blackburn and Swansea, and more than half of those clubs are still better placed than them.

The Normans thrapped us in 1066 but I wouldn't fancy there chances against us today.

Why not?

Cheers Panchero!

Roygbiv Had a look at some Wendy comments last night while our game was on and I think it's finally dawning on them that we aren't lucky after all.

One of them did say that Cov were poor and it just goes to show that anyone can go on a great run and still not be all that 🤣

It really is hurting 🤣
