Great atmosphere? I thought the sound on the telly had gone off at one bit. I think they're reasonable comments, without their front 3 they are ok at best, they certainly will have a lot tougher games than that in the coming season.
Hopefully the new signings come in and hit the ground running because if they dont we'll have a start like the one we had last season

Thought they were pretty ordinary today against a dreadful performance from us. Expected more with what they have. In typical Blades fashion we lost a game that had 0-0 all over it.

Can't disagree with the Max Lowe comment

Great atmosphere? We're sky microphones bust? I could hear the ball been kicked, but no fan noise...

‘Great atmosphere‘? It was my first visit there and I liked the ground and the friendly atmosphere. But there Is always something not quite right for me when a club feels it is necessary to have a drummer to sustain the support. Far from discouraging, the club adds to it by giving a drum to the Hornet mascot! Noticed too that the whole length of the Sir Elton John stand has ample room to wander right up to the pitch side hoardings. A shirt begging paradise!

Even the Watford fans can see they are shit apart from the front three and that's against a team that is even shitter than they are. Just to remind you all they got relegated on 23pts the same as we did the year before, that's how poor they are.

Unfortunately, they are another club with fans succumbing to giving some twat a drum and getting 20 other oiks to chant the same song repetitively all the way through the game, as at Derby and Coventry last year. Watched Livingstone v Rangers on Sunday, and Rangers had a similar bunch of brain dead morons with a drum endlessly doing the same thing. Turned the sound down on both games. God forbid we ever go down that route....

I remember back in the days of TC, Stewart Scullion and others, that Watford were looked on as our feeder club. We could pick and choose from them and picked a few good'uns!!

Harry the Hornet is quite popular but yes hs can get at away fans and certainly in the PL wasn’t so visible.

He did upset Wilf Zaha once over a diving incident !

Make shift defence against a side down from the Premier league, Robbo injured in training and Anel suspended for one game that no one mentioned to us. As for Watford not impressed at all as the season goes on we will climb the table once the new players start and as for Watford finish about mid table

Thanks Roy

Don’t disagree there ..

We are light in midfield and the defence dodgy although playing in a lower league might help them be better .

Mind you we weren’t that great last time either tbh particularly under Ivic where we seemed to play for 0-0/1-0 each game and often nicking games we didn’t deserve to.

Managed to keep a lot of clean sheets though then Sarr or someone would score .

Also agree it’s kind of boom or bust in terms of our attacking threat keeping Sarr/Dennis or not.

The replacements?… well there aren’t any really !

Certainly most of our fans aren’t expecting it to be easy or anything like that .
