Doesn't help looking at the table and seeing those piggy tw@ts ahead of us

I don't worry about the pigs. They have got off to a good start but they are cr@p. They will always be in our shadow and will always be the minnows in the City.

And there is the Elephant in the room. I'm f.ookin' bothered that they are above us..I'm bothered as f.,ook because they seem to be playing better than us. No-one like to admit it, but its a major factor in the disappointment on here at the minute. I said this would happen ages ago, because when push comes to shove in the whole parochial f.ookfest, US being above them wwas important, it always has been , it always will be, and ignoring the situation will not make it disappear...Some of you lot need to be honest with yerselves.."Nah it doesn't matter". It does, it always has done, it always will...

They're doing something right aren't they.? Skip watching that scum but facts are facts despite 4/5 games in. Something or someone has to change.

For the last few years we have laughed at our neighbours, what did we say-"mind the gap",well at this rate we are certainly going to have egg on our faces as they rise above us. Didn't many say Billy Blunt could not do it in the Championship,it just shows what good management can do and as a true blue it is galling to have to admit that Wilder could do a far better job with our squad than Carlos. Time for a change before we find ourselves drifting in the lower reaches of the division

Pigs, out score us.

Pigs game will see him gone IMO

Can anyone say they are looking forward to playing those filthy f****** with Clueless in charge?

if we lose that one us saying mind the gap will give us nearly as much egg on our faces as it did them

Leys get some one waiting in the wings before we make any panic moves. So, who is out there, realistically, who can move us forward?

That guy at Bramall Lane is doing well

He is, but the Blades are still a relatively unknown quantity and are underestimated. Looking at their playing staff it's understandable. We were like that once, but now we're very predictable.

You forgot to add that a lot of us have slagged off the quality of their whole squad saying they are not champ level........think I might stay in the house for the next 9 months

United goals were laughable today, wish we would have some of that luck

Its amazing what having an attacking mindset can bring you. The more time you spend in the opponents box the more likely you are to get lucky

You make your own luck, usually by being positive and attacking the opposition. We are unlikely to get any luck with the negative cr@p Carlos serves up

Come on admit it, who wakes up in a cold sweat thinking of Carlos in charge for the derbies? I couldn't bear to see those filthy c***s rock up at Hillsborough and play us off the park or bully us. In Carlos own words we need to dress for the ballet or dress for the farm. Right now we are dressed for the f***ing library.

it would be Ironic if our Neighbours gain promotion on a shoestring budget, just like a certain Huddersfield Town.

Pray God he doesn't get to be in charge for the Derby's. Would be 10x worse than the Huddersfield shambles and he would think that's a result.

Blimey, what would they be like if they had a start like we had last season. At the end of the day they've only lost one game and are unbeaten in four.

In fairness, some of them have made quite sensible comments..

The Pigs will sack Carlos sooner rather than later, in my opinion, in desperation to avoid being fucked. Maybe even before the derby.

Chansiri will look across the city at the passion of Wilder and think "I need that."

Pearson will spin Chansiri a load of bullshit about being a pig have the job by Christmas.

Although I appreciate it's not a mind-blowing theory, it seems plausible to me.

There's something wrong with their dressing room and it needs a twat like Pearson to solve it (although he won't be their long-term answer because he's a twat).

Long may their misfortune continue.

Fuck em.

I think Pearson has ruled himself out of managing either Sheffield club in the past mate, because he still lives in the city and doesn't want the grief. That's what the RS lads always seem to fall back on anyway, each time it is mentioned by a Wendy on the phone ins. I agree though that he would turn them around, although it's just as likely that he would fall out with Chanser as well.

Porktalk really is a thing of beauty right now.

From "Are we turning into a team of dull unsuccessful thugs", to "ONE win, disaster", to "We seem to have lost the capacity to excite", & on & on... :D:D

Can you do this every week?

I don't want to get above our stations, leave that to them. We're confident not arrogant remember.

That's right,
At the end of the season I don't think we'll be above them, that's not our agenda for this season and nobody on our side cares a damn about it

But OMG wouldn't it be hilarious if we did.

They can talk about our goals being lucky. Their goal today had a huge slice of jam on it when there was a poor piece of control by Fletcher that led to a ricochet of a Burton player into the path of their wing back.
Plus we destroyed Derby. Undoubtedly worthy winners.

WHAAAT? CW is going to the massseeeve? :D

Wendy have got a long tradition of employing clueless fuckers who talk a good game - Turner, Laws, Jewell and now Clueless Carlos.
based on that useless lot, the next one as got to be Steve mcClaren.

This one is my personal favourite, basically any fan who criticises on North Korea talk is a blade sleeper cell!

Ha ha ha they are nuts.

That's paranoia, delusion and depression in one short post! Well done to him.

He's still trotting out the "don't realise they are in for a hard season" line too. He is a real success story of the North Korea Talk brainwashing scheme

What a fantastic start, 100% record at home and playing the high pressure football that got us up. The pressure is all on Wednesday, huge wage budget, massive squad; anything below top 6 is a disaster. When fans expectations outstrip current performances suddenly playing at home isn't an advantage.

On the flip side we are playing well, fighting for every ball and playing with passion. Us fans are happy and the Lane can be the fortress it once was. But we just need to stay grounded, any finish in the top 18 is a decent result. Just remember it's our first season back and our budget is probably smaller than all but 3 or 4 teams. Have low demands in terms of results, enjoy the absolute commitment be possitive even if we hit a bad patch, and no one will look forward to the trip to our fortress!

No mate there's one or two who are equally full of bile, poison and hatred. One being Tinkerbell, horrible venomous creature.

I've only been looking on there a few months to be honest . On that megathread about us there seems to me the same 3 or 4 trying whip the rest into the party line . They pop up on every page making fools of themselves and their fellow fans. In fairness there are level headed supporters on the thread too but they are drowned out by the sheer number of bitter posts from the same 3 or 4 posters who seem to have been having a slow mental breakdown ever since we went up.

Agree with the comment but that does the team a bit of a diservice and only tells half the story.

Barnsley worked hard last week and were very organised but they really lacked any kind of quality and couldn't get any kind of possession until the last 10 minutes. They were so similiar to the better teams we played last year in league 1.

We've had passion and fight in the past under Bassett and Warnock but it can only take you so far.
Pundits and even Owlsfans think we're this hard working organised team (like we had with Warnock) that gives 100%

However what excites me is that this team also has real QUALITY, especially a midfield that blew away all comers in league 1.
The signs are already there that the midfield trio of Coutts, Fleck and Duffy with Carruthers as an option can dominate in the Championship too.

The defense looks decent, we just need to strengthen up front and we will be comfortable mid table (as a minimum). If we can get over our inferiority complex when playing away then maybe the playoffs aren't out of the question

with Wilder in charge nothing is impossible and I'm confident we'll improve through out the season.

Did anyone else catch the bloke on Praise or Grumble yesterday who said something along the lines of...

"The football is dire and I only get out of my seat to go to the toilet!"

Quality.

Yeah I heard it and broke my heart laughing , great quote though .

They are completely mental they gone from saying there is a vast chasm and we won't know what's hit us to being lucky.

They hate the fact that we are more than holding their own after the crap they spouted in pre season. I am loving this perfect storm.
It's a shame our 'luck' wasn't present at Middlesbrough and we'd be another point in front of them.

Our main aim this season , as we all wanted was to be far to middling ,
Let's see what this league has to offer ,
We where never , ever going to go back down , there are to many poor teams in this league .
However what has pleased us all is the team ethos .
Work hard , get stuck in , and leave it all on the pitch .
We will lose matches , we will go on a bad run , every team does through a season ,
But one thing as Blades we know is once OUR team give it there all ,
they break there bollox on the pitch , and go down fighting ,
then so be it we'll have been beaten by the better team ,
What the mass murders up the road fail to understand is ,
They may feel they are the Barca of this city ,
I'd prefer the Athletico Madrid up and at em , working class no holds bared , muck and nettles approach .( and no Pinchy that's not the hoof ball approach ) .
I'd rather have a Sheffield lad as manager , and a Sheffield lad as captain in that dressing room at the sty .
You can bet your bottom dollar , it will be nailed into every fuckers head what will not be accepted out there .
I hope they keep coco the clown , because no fucker will go to war for him ,
Like the way our players , manager and fans , will do in September .
I'd take 10 points from the next 4 games .
The pigs fuck em .

I absolutely agree, I wasn't suggesting that our team lacks quality as such. Just that we play teams that are equal to if not superior on paper. However our USP is the team work and commitment that runs through the core of the side. It's that factor that I am most proud of. The reaction yesterday of: players, management and fans just sums up our club at the moment. Together on an upwards trajectory.
