Cheers Roy. Fucking hell!!!. Martin Samuels has something nice to say about us!!.
As for that miserable attempt at being a woman( Karen Brady). She can just fuck off and go and shag lord Alan sugar.
Seriously WTF did pesch actually see in her??. UTB ⚔️⚔️

Fantastic Roy thanks ! Nice to see Collymore is still a twat.

When do the fixtures come out ... ???

UTB

"After all, this is a coach who won a quadruple with Alfreton Town, took Oxford United back into the Football League, kept Northampton in League Two and then won the league title with them and has now taken Sheffield United – whose club crest is tattooed on his torso – from League One to the Premier League"
Is the tattoo thing a metaphor or literal?

What’s the issue with Collymore’s comments?

Y no song Roy?

My submission:

No but seriously cheers though! Nice to see we're getting some well-deserved credit for our success this season.

What’s the issue with Collymore’s comments?

We haven't got an iota of Arsenal's talent. Bit harsh that, we're not top 6 fair enough but I'd say we have at least one or two iotas of the talent of Arsenal, especially at the back.

And then the rest is inferred I suppose but with the Vinnie Jones mention and talk of us being physically strong whilst paying no attention to the fact we're a good footballing side, it does sort of suggest he thinks we're cloggers.

“If I can offer promoted Norwich and Sheffield United one piece of advise-don’t try to survive on the cheap. Yes Bournmouth managed it four years ago but in Eddie Howe they had a manager of remarkable ability. West Ham have done well because we have rich Hammers supporters as owners and a 60,000 capacity, That is twice what Carrow Road and Bramall Lane can hold. United’s style is pleasingly watchable but much too dependent on 33 year old Billy Sharp”

Karen Brady, The Sun
Just goes to show what she knows ....... phuck all. We also have a manager with remarkable ability and since when has ground capacity meant anything in the Premier league? We have played a good few games where Billy has not started or scored we are not a one man team.

“There are many contenders for Manager of the Year and, as usual, the winner will come from the top of the Premier League. Yet nobody has got more bang for their buck than Chris Wilder at Sheffield United. It is an incredible feat to go up from such a competitive league. If Jurgen Klopp wins a first Premier League title at Liverpool he will beat it — but not by much.”

Martin Samuel, Daily Mail
Wow that is a surprise from the reporter we all love to hate :fattwat:

Some very good views by most of the rest who are starting to take notice and give us loads of praise.

Oh and Collymore's a cunt.

Kate Burlaga at sky is a big Sheffield United Fan. Wouldn’t be surprised if her, her Dad or brother read this forum

I didn’t read the column just the bit on Roy’s post. One or two iotas isn’t a thing, mate. Bladey or not, Arsenal have more talent than United. It’s difficult to measure but it’s a fact surely no-one can dispute. Doesn’t have to be a slight on United

Cheers Roy - just when you think you're finished you go an get a desert !

I had no idea how she was, so i did what any right-thinking person would these days and Googled her.

The SECOND image that comes up in a Google search for her name is the below image of Sir Christopher of Wilder:

All of a sudden I've got my forum avatar after years of not bothering... :D

I also note that the lass has changed her Twitter Banner to a picture of the lads on the town hall steps.

Like her more and more already!

I know we didn't play Burton this season but you could argue in that list of clubs that they were the ones who did us the most damage.

A comment under that quoted Guardian article is most interesting (and the first I've heard about it)...

Anyone want yet another example of the complete, total, and utter incompetence of the people running the leagues?

Evo-Stik South. (Gripping.) (Sorry.) Geographically for teams in the southern Midlands, or northern South. Promotes into the National League North/South, depending on how the geography shakes out.

Champions go up automatically. (Kettering Town by a street, well done them.) Next four clubs play off in semi-finals and then a final on 6 May. King's Lynn v Stratford, and Stourbridge v Alvechurch. Winner of the final plays against the winner of one of the other regional seventh tier divisions on 11 May. Simple enough.

Only there is a problem. Two days ago the FA found that there was an issue with a Stratford player. He may have been ineligible. Unlike the case when it was a London club, the FA actually thinks there may be a points deduction. Five off and they fall behind Coalville Town and out of the play-offs.

So...the FA has decided, now, to postpone the semi-finals. Even though the Stourbridge one could go ahead regardless.

Worse, the FA has scheduled the matches for Friday. Stourbridge cannot host the match then because they ground-share with a cricket club. Either they have to forfeit their home advantage, which they earned with the higher placing, or they forfeit the tie.

King's Lynn are also pretty dischuffed and their chair is threatening legal action.

Oh, and who was this ineligible player? I can't find out who, but it seems the FA knew about it in...February.

Something rotten in the gate of Lancaster.
