Id like to congratulate Stoke on being the first set of fans ive heard in a long time that havent bored us with the same ‘banterous’ songs we normally get.

Maybe Sheffield isnt a shithole after all and maybe we play in an actual football stadium rather than a library. And thankfully I’m rather glad we didnt get asked the age old question of whether they should sing a song for us.

Sorry to burst the bubble but I did hear some of them singing that about Sheffield when I was walking along West Street!

Thanks Roy, mainly fair comments from t'Stokies. As for singing about Sheffield, Esteemed Forgeblade said a bunch were doing this outside the Graduate pub. It's what football fans do, we need to maintain a sense of humour and proportion. They sold out, made some noise, and got behind their team, can't fault that. Had a quick chat to a couple of very fair minded Stoke fans at the pub after- they were fine! They get my vote for not being Port Vale!

Spoke to one fan after the match. They said we deserved the win overall bar the 10-20 minute spell after they scored.

Seemed fair comments, and a decent appraisal of the game, we deserved something from the game, and nicked it with an "unplayable" cameo from mcgoldrick, loved all the back heels and flicks that we saw as well yesterday.. Let's have a go at it regardless..

We'd been saying before the game they need to work the ball on the floor due to the land of the giants players they have, take short corners whip it in quick n low....

so we play it quick n low for ten minutes and it all comes good..

What do we know eh..

We wonder how he's had a career in football, you give Brewster mooses positional awareness, he's a world eater isn't he..

Nb, Brewster wouldn't have been in that position, Moose made that look so easy..

Thought he was their biggest threat going forward, although perhaps not defensively great.

Might have been to do with the fact that we were actually singing for once. Even on BLUT where I was sat. We even had a few moments of all four sides singing at the same time. Magic.
