Mixing it up this week after yet another loss. Instead of looking at the comments from Southampton fans, I take a look at Twitter to see what our own fans are saying.

Cheers Roy!Pretty sure I couldnt have read yet another set of opposing fans taking the piss either,so thanks for sparing us that bit of sadism.
Not hard to disagree with any of these comments either.
I wish I could resign myself to going down like some fans,it'd make things easier to bear I suppose,but there's still that tiny sliver of optimistic stupidity in my head that we might just claw our way out of this cluster fuck of a season.
What an idiot...
 
The fan base is hurting and every game we all hope that this is the game when it all turns around. I just wish the players believed that. Til then just keep on hoping.
 
The one about us still only being 6 points away from safety but still depressing because we just don’t look capable atm.

I would say it’s still all to play for, but the way we’re playing the gap is only going to get bigger rather than us dragging ourselves back in.
 
Got to expect a bit of black humour at the minute.

Life is flat enough without letting United add to it.

I was going to start a thread inviting jokes at our expense, it doesn't seem too bad when you do it yourself, hoping for new ones not 'Winalot' as sponsors or beef stock chicken stock ,laughing stock. See if we can get inventive and come up with something...

Bellendfest at times and to be caught betwixt the 'Sack Wilder' and 'We're gonna be alright, Wilder will sort it' lot depresses me somewhat

McBurnie must have a back problem he cant even bend over to join the huddle properly.............or does he know its a faux huddle,a going thru the motions huddle.
 
I just want to go on holiday for the next 26 games and not watch any of them.

This one guy sums it up in a nutshell ......... Wilder had made a lot of those lads careers. Its time for some of them to repay that.

Just about everyone of our players has come from the lower leagues but that is not to say they are lower league players. Without Wilder a lot of them would have never had the opportunity of playing in the worlds toughest league. Some would no doubt make a good living at Championship level one or two would be playing their football in league one or even league two and certainly they would not be getting international honours. Time for them to collectively step up to the plate and do what they were doing last season

 
I do wonder whether they'd be gloating or just a bit embarrassed at how easy it was to take the points.

It will be back for the Man U loss, I just wanted to do something different. It's not fun or brave collecting quotes from fans who have just humiliated you for the 16th game running to be honest

Me neither, re Villa. In fact, after a couple of days I posted several times in shoutbox suggesting we should leave him be!

Great to see he’s having a good laugh at a bizarrely selected list of us, tho. Go Yank 🤷‍♂️
