View on Rochdale:

Although we were shocking in every way today, fair play to Rochdale, it was a good away performance from them.

They kept the ball better than us and got at us when they could.
They denied us space for 90 minutes.
They were first to the second balls far more often than we were.
They were more organised than we were.
They wasted time and slowed the game down when they needed to.

It was a good balanced performance from them, quite far removed from what Keith Hill's teams used to be like - a bit gung ho.

They're nothing special but they're a tidy outfit who'll do quite well again this season.

Fair summary that. However, other than when he forgot he has hands, I don't remember a great deal of saves calamity George had to make. One in the first half that I can remember. Add to that the penalty that we should have had and even though the performance was dire, we really should have won that. Unfortunately we have George Long in goal.

Can't believe one of their supporters saying that a draw was a fair result. Did he really think that our performance today warranted a share of anything from that game ?.

I am delighted to see that that someone thinks we have a team "bursting with talent"

there lad 24 I think was miles better than Basham ... Why ? U win lose games in midfield we was run around in midfield again

What struck me is that quite unusually for a team that comes to Bramall Lane, they didn't come for a point, they went out to win. That SHOULD have given us an advantage and opened up the game. Unfortunately, we didn't turn up until we scored.
