If QPR play like that most games they are gonna be right up there in the mix, they bossed us for long periods especially in midfield. I hate to say we had a bad day at the office as an excuse but we were off it for most of the 90 minutes. However was it because we wasn't firing on all cylinders or did QPR play so good they nullified us for the most part?

I'd be rightfully gutted for them as those games feel like a loss but they should take solace from that game as they played well and were good to watch!

Never been so happy for a point, UTB!

Cheers Panchero!

If they had just cracked on instead of shithousing for the last 10 minutes of normal time, they would have won the match. So glad to see the WC influence on extra time. In commentary Warnock said that if that was a WC match it would have carried for an extra 10 minutes

That's 5 teams now that have seen 'promising signs', 'taken the game to a top team', and "lesser teams wouldn't handle us" and all 5 have gone on to win absolutely fuck all since playing us.

But they won’t play like that most games. They’ll be like Rovrum who have been in free fall since they won at t’Lane.
QPR were up for it today, this was their cup final, taking advantage by creating a scrappy game on a shitty bobbly pitch.
They were absolutely gifted their single goal.
They have some decent players in Chair and Willock and the big ugly fuck Dyke will mix it up. But this isn’t the silky QPR team of the past when Eberechi Eze was strutting his stuff. They’re terribly vulnerable in defense and most teams will score at least two against them, especially away from their ploughed up cabbage patch where a ball will actually bounce normally.

We had to wait until the very last post, but one QPR fan finally understands the rules of the game.

I made a point of watching the clock. We took the free kick at 91:15, meaning we'd lost more than a minute of the added time before we took it.
We scored at 95:40 (4:25 into stoppage time).
If anything we should have added the minute lost on top of the 5 added, meaning the game should be finished at 97:15

Cheers Roy, nice throne read on a damp Monday morning!👍

I can understand why they feel cheated, I'd be gutted if we dominated a game like that only to give a goal away on the last kick. I don't think we deserved anything from that game. What should worry QPR fans is that despite looking way better and more dangerous than we did Wes hardly had a save to make and the best chances were made by United Billy could have easily had a brace.

Agree with this. They just stepped up the intensity after a poor loss at home to Luton. However, we’re they actually a threat? Added to that we’re the in form team and you had the recipe for a banana skin. We were poor too, mind, but their intensity shone after a long run of games over the festive period.

Take that point all day long.

I watched it back after. Play actually stopped at 89:30, so almost 2 minutes. Critchley made the point in the interview afterwards and said he had no complaint about timekeeping (though he did complain about a push in the build up, Bogle I think).

The real surprise for me was that 5 minutes didn’t seem very long, plenty of subs and injury stoppages and thought it might have been more..

Cheers roy, a poor performance so dont know how you could go looking on there forums i just wanted to go to bed and moan

Good to see some sense from the last comment, their player sat down for a minute and we scored in the minute he added on. Karma's a bitch.

QPR were poor and created very little but credit to them, they upped their intensity after a bad home defeat and got a fortunate goal. From there they could focus on just pressing us high. We didn't have an answer to that and the game got scrappy and we played into their hands, being out fought with the ball in the air too much. But we still created the better chances and were worthy of a point, which after a poor display away from home is a good point. We can obviously play better, and it's frustrating they got the lucky goal otherwise it's a different match. But given our own high standards and auto ambitions, criticism is valid given our inability to break the lines, plus corncern that we're looking a bit light up front at the moment.

Thanks Roy. If I was them I'd be fucking gutted and all! I think we pinched that point but there'd have been a time we'd have come away with fuck all so yep, I'm not happy with the performance but I'll take it.
