It wasn’t “smash and grab”, apart from RND all of their players played better than ours.
They had a good spell in the first half, they had a good spell in the second half when they scored and nearly scored again.

We played pretty badly but I don’t think they were fantastic tbh. They defended pretty well.

They were better than us, worked harder, ran faster and had more idea on the ball. We were back to our slow, ponderous version of ourselves today.

Had our chances first half but couldn’t put them away , thought they were a fit well drilled side , dangerous on the counter . We score first and they have to come out at us but once they scored you knew they were gonna park the bus . Thought we looked sluggish , couldn’t for the life of me work out why he took Doyle off ?? Reminded me of some of the Wilder ball performances against sides that sat deep and picked us off . For all possession we only made there keeper make the one save second half , but fk me you’ll not get a clearer pen for pulling ?

Cheers Panchero..........

I won't read it, but thanks for collecting the "views", as always. We battered them first half, without scoring, but switched off (again) when defending.

That result has seen us fall to....top of the league.

Up the Blades!

Would be like a dog with two tails if I was their travelling support. Long journey to an exotic, legendary city and a win on the road. What more could you want?

Thanks for this Roy. Just can't read it :(

Now, on to Satdi with hopefully a returning Anel :)

UTMB

Thanks Roy. A bit of rewriting history from some of them but to be fair they defended very well. You could see what was happening early on with them pushing us wide & their centre backs heading everything, so why we didn't go through the middle more I don't know, but I guess if we produced that sort of performance in an away game then we would be chuffed too.
Felt it was a clear pen on Sander late on, but when do we ever get those decisions?

Cheers roy, my thoughts we were poor they were ok , a draw would have been fair but weve had wins when a draw would have been fair so no complaints from me.

Got to say I felt the same after I'd calmed down, they say it balances out but that ref caused an injury to berge that went without punishment or just reward..

I feels like I'm clutching at straws, but we'll only get decisions once Watford and Norwich are top 2..

Cheers Roy for review. QPR were the better team on the night more organised than Utd were. Utd just had an off night. Slow and miss-kicks and miss passes from quite a few of the players who under performed last night to how good they have played last few games.

Berge didn't get up to protest because he was injured.
