“Absolute shithousery cheating from the Blades, which the ref was complicit in allowing. Completely lost control. Utd reffed the game second half. Soft as sh*t pen too.”

What short memories they must have; I seem to remember QPR playing the ref like a fiddle at the corresponding fixture last season. Twats,
That's exactly what I thought too!

Yep can't fault any of the comments really from the measured to the angry all seem about right.

Funnily enough the red was the same one from Norwich at home last year when our comments would have been very similar to those of QPR. Obviously we’ve seen the referee as a weakness on the pitch and looked to exploit it, which is just as important as looking at the strengths/weaknesses of the opposition. Good tactical nous, too shithousing.

You’d be fuming and rightly so if that was given against us! One of the softest penalties we’ve ever been given.

As McGoldrick jumps for the header, the small defender behind him shoved him in the back without any intention to try & win the ball. The ref was looking straight at it. Stonewall penalty.

The amount of time wasting is a general problem that prevents football from being played at football matches.

Fans neglect it, even praise it, when their team are winning and doing it, while complaining when their team are losing and the opposition are doing it.

Maybe that's also why nothing are being done to prevent this rubbish being displayed in front of paying fans. Fans don't unite in saying that it's not wanted in the game. They could, after all, find themselves in a situation next week when their team possibly aren't good enough to keep a lead through fair methods.

Totally agree Bergen. Can’t stand it when it’s done against us but of course if we do it and get 3 points then ‘the end supports the means’. Would love refs to be stronger on this especially with keepers. What happened to the 6 or 7 second rule? It is pretty much up to 30 seconds now.
Also, once the referee has blown the opposition shouldn’t be allowed to touch the ball again. Hate this dribbling or carrying it 10 meters away then leaving it there. Should be an automatic 10 meter movement forward of the free kick.

I actually thought it was a penalty. It was soft and you see them not given more than given, but as McGoldrick goes up for the header, the guy behind him seemed to duck down and give him a nudge in the back, he had a chance of connecting with the header, so fair enough pen I think.

Would have been a foul anywhere else on the pitch. Good decision I thought. If it was the other way round though...
