Cheers roy, mostly decent comments, personally thought we were totally dominant and 4-1 flatters them

"Fair play to SUFC today. They could have just turned up but they put on a show for their fans." "Absolutely infuriating though losing to a team with nowt to play for" "bloody hell, so easy for them!" "Unfortunately, this is what "going for it" looks like against a much better team." "a total missroysviewfrom.com
That was funnyI thought they were knowledgeable when they sang to Oli Norwood 'You're getting sold' in the summer, but then they sang it to Tommy.![]()

Stonewall penalty. Anel didn't get any of the ball. The ball changes direction, which might make it look like a god challenge, but it wasn't from his boot!Don’t know where you saw it from, but it was just in front of me in the BLUT and looked like a superbly timed tackle from my vantage point. Not a penalty.
Anel is going to be a liability next year in the Prem, where players go down if you so much as breathe heavily on them. And refs give pens for itStonewall penalty. Anel didn't get any of the ball. I do think he needs to be sat down and talked to about VAR. My concern is more the amount of holding he gets through defending corners. Everyone does it but he's very obvious with it.Anel is going to be a liability next year int Prem where players go down if you so much as breath heavily on them. And refs give pens for it

Whole squad needs a session really. Furious won't get away with some of his nonsense next year. Robbo and Norwood need to be a bit more clever with some of their tackles.
I’m sure at one bit yesterday he had one of theirs in a headlock at a corner. Frightening stuff in the PremI do think he needs to be sat down and talked to about VAR. My concern is more the amount of holding he gets through defending corners. Everyone does it but he's very obvious with it.

Considering preston needed a win to get top 6, thought they were comfortably one of the worst teams that we’ve played all season.
He's by no means alone, but the fact you notice him doing it every game worries me. Especially given the amount of bookings he gets anyway. He's young, he'll learn, but I'd expect some work on it over summer. PL strikers will just go down loudly and refs are more likely to give it as they know they have VAR as a safety net.I’m sure at one bit yesterday he had one of theirs in a headlock at a corner. George knows the score but I think this season might be his most furious season! Never been sent off though, so usually calms down after a yellow. He's walked the line a bit this season though.Baldock knows that, though. Remember he got through two Premier League seasons without getting sent off, he plays furious but I think he's actually very smart about where and how to be aggressive.
Aye we sat right in front of it on John Street. How the linesman doesn't see it I'll never know.Stonewall penalty. Anel didn't get any of the ball. The ball changes direction, which might make it look like a god challenge, but it wasn't from his boot!
To be fair he needs to be down the right or learn to tackle with both feetAnel is going to be a liability next year in the Prem, where players go down if you so much as breathe heavily on them. And refs give pens for it
I really hope they were being sarcastic!!But we have survived another season in the second tier of English football and that is at least something.”
The most Preston comment ever.
They are a bang average midtable team. How they manage to keep that up consistently is actually remarkable.Preston were possibly the worst team to visit the Lane this season. Especially under the circumstances that they actually had something to play for.
I've come to the conclusion that he must have been brought up well and never swears. You see some of those volleys of abuse to the ref or lino and figure he's getting a card, but it doesn't get shown.Baldock knows that, though. So is he shouting, 'I'm convinced that took a nick off the defender, lino!'
