To be fair we have Souza for 10m, Hamer for 15m, Brewster for 23m. Preston have never seen those sorts of sums and neither have a lot of clubs in this league. We have a very expensive squad for this level.

We have bog all to spend ,Its down to Wilder who without money has rebuilt the team with his wheeling and dealing .I mean we have spent peanuts and we must not forget we have only played one match but the outlook does look good . Again, difficult to say for the squads themselves but if the general idea about us this season is that we're one of the big teams that's considered points dropped already then we seriously need to play on that. I don't consider us that team but, fake it till you make it and all that.

Of course the squads we play have to put up a fight and I'm sure they have way more positivity than the fans but I'm certain they all have people keeping an eye on the fans perspective, much like I imagine there's players or even staff who read this forum.

What a sour bunch..... Wilder has cobbled together a team, using our home grown talent, 2 "keepers"(Davis played well) that wouldn't look out of place in a wax museum....
Free transfers, and very good free transfers at that!!, a couple of loans that have been here 3days!!! And some players that must've been on their arse after last season.....
Yet, weve "bought the league"!!??

Seems we're not the only club buying this league. Leeds, Burnley are also in. I think it's called ambition. Not all clubs have it. PNE don't have ambitions of Premier League, not at the moment , they are competing within their means. We, nor any other team, should have to justify spending to be ambitious. They're are consequences to spending and that is our problem to bear not anybody else's. I think teams like PNE are a product of other teams success. Not every team has large support or deep pocket owners. You just hope you can pull off a Luton or Ipswich if you are s PNE. I think they are frustrated just like we have been last year and an easy target is how much better bigger clubs are. Football is a cruel friend .
