Over the years on this forum I believe that generally speaking we have displayed a balanced, honest and fair view on how well we've played and how well the opposition have played. It's rare that we have bigged ourselves up or shown disrespect to other clubs.

And yet we are now being seen as one of the most hated clubs in the country.

If we are beating teams then its understandable for the opposition to show a dislike. But we have opposition fans taking greater pleasure in 'hating' us rather than the fact they've just won a game.

Sh***housery in the first half at 0-0 and using fouling and whingeing as a tactic to get to the Premier league is probably not the best idea if you want to be successful or even gain respect. Such a strange team, led by a strange manager who doesn’t appear to have too many admirers in the game.The Blades are a better side than all that play acting. Maybe it has been successful for them this season, not today. When their three sub strikers came on, each of which would start for us and we could only dream of affording, you get a sense of the disparity in the quality of the two teams. However, heart and teamwork won today.”
