It was a Tuesday night in August and the kick off was brought forward to accommodate the last train back up the East Coast Mainline.

Either way: of course we're going to take more fans when it's a Saturday kick off and we're flying. I would imagine we took more today than they've managed in total in the three visits to Bramall Lane since they got relegated.
Still took about 1400 last year.Only good game I saw sammon have

At least they acknowledge it was absolutely the right result.

The comments about them playing for a draw are also quite fair. Left Forrester on the bench, went with an unspectacular centre midfield and had Maddison and Edwards tucking in to make it hard for us to play out through the middle. They got what they deserved - 0 goals.

I thought Grant had a good game for them, made it hard for us and one of the reasons it took a long time to break through.

The comment about them playing better at Bramall Lane is correct - they were much better.

I bet we're the only side who'll not concede a goal to them this season - a 1-0 double!

Junior Morias looked like an interesting player to say the least when he came on – looked as wide as he was tall. He had the proportions of Cartman from South Park.

He looked like a fan who'd won a competition!

Having said that he probably came closer to scoring for them than anyone.

Did anybody else here the guy doing half times scores say something like "MK dons are drawing, which is quite funny"? What an absolute tool, yeah hilarious pal, pissed myself.
At least he managed to get his precious skip on the pitch.

I felt a tinge of sympathy for their mascots (the two Bob The Builder types and the bunny rabbit thing) as they waved us goodbye.
I think I'm going soft.

I guess that's just me and the rest of the league who likes Top Scorer Billy Sharp then

It was quite funny waking back to the train station I was listening to a group of posh fans . They pretty much said we didn't really make the keeper work but probably deserved the win.

However as I walked past I heard one say we were not the best team in the league, at that point I spun round and pretty much lambasted him. I said course we are the best team in the league we are top of the league for a reason that may change but at this moment in time we are the best team in the league so stop taking out of your arse.

My family live in Peterborough and I went in the home end with a couple of mates from my time living there. The general view of the Posh fans was that we deserved to win but they were reasonably pleased with their team's performance.

Not that I went today, but seems fair. While we've got our biggest couple of tests on the horizon, I think they were the best team I've seen at the Lane aside from us.

Bitter much . Basically saying we're glory supporters. Get a grip mugs
Fucking hell we are the polar bastard opposite.
We might piss and moan like no other fans but I still think we are some of the best in the country.

Solution for Peterborough:

For God's sake use your quality midfielders. Go 4-2-3-1 or similar.

Grant/Bostwick Forrester

Edwards Lopes/Samuelsen Maddison

Why not if you have no quality strikers?

Even if they're lacking up front they should still be up near the top with the players they've got in midfield and defence.
