Given the number of them that chose to drink pre-match in Hollywood Bowl, before dining in the world's shittest Indian Buffet and complement the food... I'm scared to even open the link. Their opinions will be quite frankly mental.

“Played a vastly better side. They moved us from side to side and ran us ragged”

Sounds good. What we've seen it for large parts of the season thankfully :)

Yet you wouldn't know that from some of our own fans' reports. We have some great supporters but far too many who wallow in inferiority on the one hand or self-entitlement on the other.

The first time I've ever gone to Frankie & fucking Benny's for a post match pint.

That's that then.

'Funny Little Chris' it is.

I like FLC.

Something I saw an Oxford fan wearing this evening was probably the single worst piece of shite footballing memorabilia imaginable. If half-and-half scarves weren't already an abomination, I give you the half-and-half Johnstones Paint Trophy Final scarf commemorating Oxford United vs Barnsley.

The horror.

I'm sure he regrets buying that, LB. Now he's saving up for an Oxford/Coventry half-and-half in the Giveafuck final.

Excuse me we had that Indian buffet. BUT only because we left it too late and got a take away and ate it in the car as every else was full.Classy eh? And you're right, it was shit.

Sorry. I should have warned you about the Indian buffet. The chippy across the way is not bad but I asked for a chip butty and the lad serving clearly didn't know what a chip butty was (I am perfectly serious). The chips were tolerable. The bottle of cider in the ground was warm.

Hollywood Bowl is an utterly soulless place. But the cinema is nice and there's a half decent soft play centre** there. That's the best Oxford has to offer :-)

** Foxy, you'll find out soon.

That one tickled me.

Some quality comments Roy, great result , great supporters and a manager who actually does care, hope he's here as long as Ferguson was at Old Trafford.......rise Sir Christopher of Shoreham

I'm never going back. Nearly 2 hours sat on a bastard car park! We need to get promoted so I don't have to live through that again.

For about 60 minutes we were very very average. Piss poor first half and badly missed Duffy / JOS linking midfield to attack. We looked far better when Lavery and Samir came on. We stopped looking for the easy hoof to Hanson and kept the ball a bit better. After we got ourselves ahead our swagger started to come back a bit.

Shows what a collective shower of shite most of the teams are in this division if we are the best team they have played on that performance. Quite surprised to be honest!

Getting into bed at 2 am was worth it for the reaction at the end!

I am never in favour of a "target man" - exactly for that reason - the temptation to lump the ball up to him when things get difficult. I think that is a good example of what I was saying. The better teams play without one. I know there are rare examples of good ones - Ibrahimovic clearly comes to mind - though he was shite at Barcelona.

Which car park were you in? One at the stadium?

Grim.

Wilder strikes again…”

“Wilder going the Sheffield fans, kissing the badge a la DiCanio”

“tosser no class”

“Wilder not classy”

“Sheffield United class. Chris Wilder complete lack of class”

So at a guess I think they are not keen on him ? Never mind Chris .......we LOVE you !!!

The one at the ground? Weird that, as we went for a drink after at Hollywood Bowl for half an hour and got out of the car park very easily after that.

It is ridiculously inaccessible. Oxford should really be better than that. It's not like it's a non league club.

Thanks to meticulous planning I was out in 5 minutes - and I didn't leave the ground at all early (secret tip: use Google). Doesn't surprise me to hear how long it took out of the car parks. It looked horrendous.

The bastard M1 delay made up for it for me though.

I do think his celebrations were more over the top than normal and I bet you he is more respectful when we play Northampton. I still loved it though, couldn't stop grinning.

That sums up the Oxford United experience. Post match ale in a fucking bowling alley.
Yep, pint in a plastic glass, but it was better than the alternative of sitting in the car and not moving.......but only just.
