I hate it when a game could have been 0-0 but the other team score 2 and it ends up being a 2-0 loss.

If it wasn't for the scoring of goals, it would have been 0-0 so I'm upset about that
They manage to overlook the other chances we created where Gunn made good saves (including the one from Gus’s halfway line effort). Of course that’s his job but if you discount scored goals, you might include some near misses for balance. 2-0 was about right and comfortable throughout.

In their case, there were no near misses, Cooper didn’t have a single save to make, so the best they could end up with was 0.

They’re going on about injuries ?? .. Fk me we’ve been patching a side together with an U21 team bench since the end of November !
We weren’t spectacular but we got the job done without them even offering a shot on target . Yes we all know about the PL & the gap but this is here and now in the Championship .. using that is a poor excuse for their short comings .. they struggled to be even average
As regards Mike Dean the blokes an absolute bell end don’t mention his name around these parts ⚔️
Not spectacular! nothing special !
Just like last time under Heckie !
We get that from opposing fans all the time! A pattern to it all! I would say yes.
We do look messy at times things breakdown quite often with our practise of going for the winning pass and some how it goes wrong.
Still get it done in most matches to get over the line.
With the new players maybe we might waste less but not lose the winning mentality of the team .
No doubt if we make it Next season will be tough! still expect us to make a better fist of it as last time we went into it knowing we were doomed.
I think the Prince accepted that (not expecting the hammerings though)as the recruitment was no where near enough to give us a chance .Allocating the prem money to put the club in a stronger position ! Buying a new training venue and spending a lot on opening the hotel again! He got the sale he was looking for ! With owners who can push us on.
More than once he said only selling to new owners who could do what he couldnt as he hadn't the collateral to do it.
Time will tell.

Thanks Roy. We're nothing special apparently and that's coming from the team who offered the square root of fuck all.
Ooh.
Apparently my message has been flagged as 82% potentially toxic.
That's a new one.
Can I not say fuck anymore?
It's the flagging system creating toxicity, not free speech🙏

Referees of the calibre of Mike Dean are the reason we had to introduce VAR into our top division in the first place, the foul on McCallum yesterday was a nailed on penalty.

It’s wild to suggest that wasn’t a pen. Absolutely barmy. I’d say it was an unfortunate one for the defender because SM came from the blindside to get a toe on it. But decisions aren’t made on the basis of sympathy.

On Norwich, I’m glad we played them when we did. At full strength they’re good enough to hurt our rivals.

I listened to their manager’s comments after the game, and he said they “had plenty of opportunities”. Which in the real world translates to getting into a few good positions and failing create anything at all.

It's a brilliant forum. There's even a twitter page dedicated to how insane it is

In fairness, there's a large degree of truth in this. Parachute payments provide relegated clubs with a massive financial advantage - if used well, of course. But that's the modern day deal, so one must accept and move on. In a sense, the reward for promotion, is no longer the achievement itself alone, well managed clubs benefit for a longer term, however, even then no guarantees as Sunderland fans must remember themselves.

That’s the thing, they moan about parachute payments and the last time they had them they managed a relegation and had to spend them all on Jack Rodwell’s wages due to the stupid contract they’d given him when in the PL.

We’re one of very few teams in the last 10 years who’ve managed to get promotion without parachute payments, so using it as a stick to beat us with now is a bit short sighted.

Yep, the Rodwell signing makes the Brewster one look like good business. Sad though, like you say, that promotion without the parachute payment is so hard.

“Unless Leeds throw the bank at it and get lucky (including with Farke in charge at that level), none of the top four has a prayer of staying up.”

Since 3 go own at leasr 1 of the four will stay up

Only if all 4 go up, which obviously isn't going to happen!

Norwich were a yo-yo team for a good while..used to think I’d be happy to see Blades in that position.

And kidney punched the poor disabled defenceless young lad....

Fkin barbarians, those Sheff Utd fans....

🙄

To be fair, there were 2 absolute dickheads who pushed in at the front of the queue to get into the kop yesterday. They seemed quite capable of doing this.

The bloke behind me called out their disgusting behaviour and they basically offered him out. Lovely people.

Some delusional stuff in there and with the manager.

Their MoM was the goalie who made 3 or4 good saves to keep it respectable.

Cooper didn't have a save to make

I love how a lot of opposition fans are quick to say if were top it's a poor division. I've never understood that mentality.

When your saying that the team top of the league isn't very good .................................. what does that mean for them in 11th?? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
