Interesting isn't it, this is from a Millwall supporter on 365 who is always very fair.

I think you are the best side i've seen us play this season. You have all the tippy-tappy bollocks football most sides play, but you are the most progressive going forward with it. You play in the oppositions half rather than mincing around between your defenders and keeper like a lot of sides. Great movement and very easy on the eye.

Anyone that knows me, knows i'm usually very pessimistic about Millwall. But all week i thought we were going to win today. Even after all the boys dropped out, i still went on my own as i was sure i'd be missing out if i didn't go. I think we deservedly took the lead, but you deserved your equaliser.
Then i thought you battered us for the first 20 mins of the second half. We were on the ropes and it felt it was only a matter of time before you scored - and that would have been game done. But we scored against the run of play and were in control from there on in.

Having given you all that praise, thinking about it, did you actually have any chances on goal? I don't think either keeper had a save to make.

Either way, i fucking enjoyed that. It was a really good game to watch and i'd happily watch Sheff U anytime - would bang again!

That Brooks is a fucking talent - deservedly booked for diving. He needs to be better than that. That said, once we took the lead i don't remember him getting involved again. And THAT was the Leon Clarke we all know and love. He did nothing all game. Can't believe he stayed on. Was Fleck the little Erikson looking midfielder? Thought he had a cracking game too. Really liked him

You don't need to worry about falling away. Play-offs minimum no doubt about it for me

Actually.. rumour really has it that Clarke was and still is feeling dizzy after being so high in the goalscoring charts for so long.

I thought you looked a good side today and liked the way you attacked - much better than some of the boring tippy tappy sides weve faced this season.

However, credit to Harris, he spotted that a switch to 352 would help us expose you on the break & bang, Romeo puts us 2-1 just when you were having a good spell.

After that you seemed to lose a bit of faith in what you were doing and allowed us to take charge a bit.

Enjoyable game. Odd in many ways though - I thought we deserved the win, but would say the Blades looked a better footballing outfit. I think you will definitely make the Play-Offs at least.
 
I had a shit week at work this week too. I’m hoping next week is better.

It’s always nice hearing the oinkers have let a last minute goal in.

However we need to improve and get back to basics. In Chris we trust.

Every team we play switches to 3-5-2 and launches it into the channels
So credit Harris for copying every other opposition manager

If you knew Harris like us Wall fans you'd know it must have been a gamble in his mind to switch formation - it's the first time I've seen us not play 442 in three years under him. We've been on a run of no win in six, so I do credit him for taking a gamble and switching to a formation weve never played under him in a match against a side 3rd in the division.

And perhaps if that's the case (every team does it) Wilder may need to come up with his own switch then.

I was always wary about today's game as you are a good home side. That said I expected us to be able to outfootball you but you played to your strengths and totally shut us out. I hear Gregory has been getting a bit of criticism of late. He was supposed to be one of or targets had you not gone up and I have to say I thought he was brilliant today

He only really got some stick in the last home game v Hull City - as he missed an absolute sitter right at the end to win it. And had earlier missed two other good chances. Other than that he played the perfect game in that match!

Hopefully now he's got off the mark he can have a decent season.

Apparently he had been throwing up before the match - but insisted on playing v his home town club!

We attack teams from all over the park and leave ourselves exposed to the counter

Since September every team we've played has switched to a variant of 3-5-2 and hit us on the break by turning our defence with long balls

Since we've lost Coutts and can't play our way around teams as well as before our defence has suddenly stopped being able to deal with direct channel balls and been conceding soft sloppy goals
Think personally all we have to do is up our work rate as if we'd played you a couple of months ago we would have matched your hard work at the very least but today we didn't and that's the problem not the formation

Same here Roy thought this was a potential banana skin against a side that of recent has done well against us , teams now sitting deep against us and happy to concede possession and play us on the break
