Same united team of players as last season? Not quite true.

“Blades going to win the league fairly comfortably with pretty much the same side that finished mid table last season. Funny what a good management/coaching team can do for a team.”

But true that the management/coaching team made the difference.

Yeah, the turnaround from McEveley, Hammond, Woolford and Sammon has been quite remarkable really.
Too quick for me. I was just going to make the same point.

The second bit is true though

Sound like anyone we know?
Can’t wait for next season for Neil’s honest bunch of lads to play mindless hoofball and the useless or constantly crocked additions to the squad.

There were three players who played in the final game against Scunthorpe - Basham, Coutts, Sharp - who played last night. Long also played and in last nights squad. I think I agree with you!

Thank you Roy. Excellent stuff. Belting coach some of their fans came on. Seen teams with worse coaches. It'll have made their trip back to London a tiny bit more pleasant.

They were truly garbage until the 70th minute. No quality going forward and lacking urgency.

After we'd declared our innings they did far better, but it was still limited stuff. Not once did they get round the back of our defence to cross from dangerous areas. It was all high balls and knock-downs.

That shows how little interest opposing fans take of the opposition . Always take what's said with a little pinch of salt as emotions run high after the match and a loss .

We do not really get the credit or respect we deserve , but who cares a toss .

Name of the game is to leave this league behind .

Forget how you play , winning is everything .

Millwall very poor and I won't shed a tear if we don't sign any of there players . If that game was the shop window for some , they were shite .

Even so, they'd had summat like 1 defeat in 16 league games previously and it looked a stern test...

Someone said on here there was a deal in place to sign Gregory. On that performance, I hope not.

“Article 50 to be activated imminently. Millwall’s promotion campaign in tatters. This is the worst day of my life”

A Millwall fan who DOESN'T support Brexit?!

Harry the Dog has always been pro Europe.

Gregory spent more time laughing and joking with our players during breaks in play than theirs so probably some truth in it, certainly didn't look to be operating on full cylinders last night.

"Honest bunch of lads" - doesn't half bring back some harrowing memories of last season under Adkins.

I've got a few Millwall fans in the family, and aside from their Neanderthal idiots that get all the press coverage, the rest generally aren't any different to the majority of United fans.

One thing I will say for them though, is in terms of on the pitch matters they very rarely look past their own team and take very little interest in what other teams around them do, as evidenced in some of the views. That's not always a bad thing mind, considering how obsessed the hogs are with us.

And Coutts isn't the same person ,surely:);) Personifies what a difference a manager can make.

Early season he bought a few beers on the way home. Soon after he told Coutts one half-time " not to disappear in the second half like you usually do".

Good guy/ bad guy, give 'em bollockings but always have a beer. S2 kind of bloke.
