This guy's comments are spot on. When i watched Wilders after match interview i thought the same. If the jobs going to make you ill Chris then get out, it's not worth it.

“Just seen Wilders post match interview. He looks ill and sounded dreadful.
Think the job is to big for him, don’t think he will be there long.”

Yes, this is what worries me most. We've seen it with Blackwell, Wilson, Weir, Clough (a bit) and Adkins ( a bit more), wtf does this club, or presumably McCabe, do to them?

Whatever it is it's not funny anymore and in fact probably the most significant symptom we get to see of the sickness running about the place.

Maybe it's the way that we spout the crap about giving new managers "time" and then after a couple of defeats the lynch mobs are marching on the castle with pitchforks, burning brands and abuse?

I said almost exactly the same thing on here last night. I actually feel sorry for him, it looks like has has been handed the impossible job and like Weir and Adms it's hard to see him turning it around.

So to sum up so far, we're playing rubbish football, we've barely had a shot on goal and we look like conceding every time the ball goes anywhere near our box..... all bodes well.

The fucking bile that's spouted by numpties on social media would get the strongest down.
Hundreds of wannabe managers and I bet CW tunes into it.
Fuck me the axes are out four fucking matches in

Maybe time for some of our fans to step off his throat a bit

It's a chicken and egg thing though. Give us something to cheer and we'll give him all the adulation he deserves. Turn in the indefensible shit we've endured so far this season, and the pressure will build.

The performances, and most of his signings thus far have been shit and it's him that needs to sort it out, not us. He's supposedly got rid of the dross, but the players now are worse than before.

If he does his job and we show signs of improvement, the pressure will rightly lessen. If he can't do that, then he isn't good enough and replacing Adkins with him will be another piss poor decision, like I thought it would be before it actually happened.

He got a couple of positive chants yesterday and gave us a wave. He can't expect more than that after the shocking start we've made.

How about, as fans, we give him pute, unadulterated huge vocal support for the next five games and lets see what the team can do. Give all the players a boost from the terraces............won't happen though will it?

No one is after the manager's head, apart from those deflecting the blame from the board and (largely useless) players.

And of course, it's the fans fault.

No it won't because it's ingrained into some of them now. Last Tuesday bloke in front of me started hurling abuse within 2 mins of kick off, and that was before any of their goals. Did same at first match as soon as Rochdale scored. Might have to move seats, don't think I'll be able to avoid harming him.

I seem to have gotten quite lucky this season with my seats. Moved this season and the bloke next to me seems pretty sensible. Better than the last lot of idiots I was surrounded by.

Back in the day all the miserable, flat cap, pipe and woodbine smokers used to congregate on the John St Terrace East abusing the linesman or the opponents winger or full backs.
Now they're spread all around the ground.
Sad miserable fuckers all of em

A guy on the Kop tried that against Southend and a few more joined in which I thought was commendable of the bloke tbh. Maybe it'll take something like this to jumpstart a few bruised ego's and particularly give Chris Wilder a welcome boost of support.

Anyone remember the late Cooperman and his rallying call?

It is difficult for the fans to rally around this team. Not only do we keep losing and are bottom of L1 - we also look completely and utterly fucking useless. Can't defend, can't create a chance nevermind f'kin score, slow, spineless, no pattern of play, no pride in the shirt. And that's me being kind to them.

It was always going to get round to being our fault pops, wasn't it.

It's that kind of attitude that has put us at the bottom of the league. It's about time we all realised that if we could stop sharing any negative views on social media the players some moan about will become world beaters.

Wilder looked done in on the post match interview. I don't particularly think the job is beyond him, but get the feeling he does not know what to do next?

He is bemused that we are where we are. Completely befuddled, all a bit worrying, although there is still just time to turn it round. If we go fifteen points behind the top teams we will struggle to recover.

Oh and by the way it looks like I have lost another monkey. That is £3k now! yipes.

15 points behind the top teams? It's the bottom teams we need to worry about.

I say it every time we get a new manager
"Give it a few months and he'll look like death warmed up"

The job isn't too big for him it's too retarded for him

Went down on Tuesday night and have to say the atmosphere was very toxic from the kick off, I was sat behind the directors box and the idiot next to me kept shouting Phil Brown and asking when he'd take over at the lane? Also the constant booing of George Long was embarrassing, I could see he was shit like everyone else but how does it help booing him?

Difficult to see how we can get out of this but constant booing of players and wilder will definitely not help.

Maybe if his owner would help him out, he could get that first result on the board and we can all start to get going.
We still need 5 players. Let's see if McCabe can manage to ruin yet another managers reputation or can actually save it for a change.

Nice to hear we we passing the ball and it was them who was playing hoofball.
Just seen a still photo of the pen totally amateurish from O,Connell.
Thats the luck you get in times like these.
