Like the good old days! Self righteous bunch who despite winning all around can’t sell out their ground and have lost all their roots. Fantastic ! Another season and I reckon normal service will be resolved with all the premiership fans. 👍

I’m always surprised why there’s so much anti-Scouse sentiment kicking around these days when I’ve always found Mancs to be much worse and in fact pretty unbearable when talking about football. Any humility Man City used to have has long since dissipated.

Their away support is poor, home noise is garbage and any club favouring Wednesday must need their bumps feeling. They used to be a raucous lot with a bit of swagger, but now they are so beige it’s untrue.

Wowzers 😂😂😂

Wowsers indeed.

Nice balanced set of views, can't understand the negatively towards em

What a set of cunts mind you they always have been and always will be. Seems like they have forgotten they have been utter shite for years since winning the league under Allison, utter steaming dog shite down in League one then some rich Arab decides to throw a billion quid their way. Fuck off Citeh no respect for you I'd go as far as to say I prefer Leeds and have more respect for them than I'd ever have for Manchester City.
These wankers must still be smarting over a few balloons, that and Liverpool have already blown them away 🤣 🤣 🤣 ⚔ ⚔ ⚔

"Hard faught win"

Do you think he meant "fought" or "fraught"?

To be honest it's a bit of a relief to see a collection of sneering comments comparing us to Stoke, Bassett and Warnock.

It's the perfect antidote to us being over-praised, as we were on the BT commentary last night. So over the top I was cringing in embarrassment.

Much happier with the ill-informed sterotypical view of the Blades, I think it must be my safe-space.
It’s patronising at times, and you know they’ll turn at the first opportunity, too easy.

My old boss was a city fan. I have hated them ever since! He was a knob and most of their other fans appear to be knobs. It is part of the Manc Psyche to be cocky and arrogant, think Liam Gallagher strutting along in his parka and you get the picture.

They got lucky a billionaire came in and took them on this ride, but the arrogance and bitterness is a sign that they have lost touch with reality. They forget the decades of being shit and in the shadows of Manure.

What do they expect from a club that has recently spent 6 years in League 1. We should step aside and doff our caps to the galacticos?

Fuck off back to Manchester, be the new yoonited, buy the titles and the media fawning, I for one am proud of our boys last night who made you look ordinary .

We are not Stoke or Burnley and won't be relegated next year because we have our own world class manager. 2 teams of the season this year . Liverpool (a class above and the new champions) and Sheffield United working miracles on a miniscule budget.

cheers Roy
strange bunch that manc lot !

am i the only one struggling massively with why how they thought mason was biased towards us !? the mind boggles !
their players spent allot of the game literally looking at the ref until he gave them a free kick after every single tiny bit of contact/tackle , the one in the 2nd half when Augero fell over was the worst , it was almost like he was the ref and stopped the game and then the ref then blew up - probably apologised to him also for taking so long

appalling ref- he was itching to give anything to them at every single opportunity

Last night was a bit like when City come up against a good team in the Champions league. You do your best to stay in the game and use whatever tactics necessary to gain an advantage. The difference is, our disadvantage is player talent. Theirs is all in their head.

Absolute mental weaklings and heartless wonders when it gets tough. From the top of the club down to the fans

The comparison with Norwich sums up the dilemma. Do we want to stay up? Yes. Therefore we adjust our approach accordingly. A true city fan who had supported their team back in the 90’s when they were constantly in Man Utd’s shadow and losing to Gillingham at Wembley, would understand that.

To be fair I'd have been furious at Besic not getting a red if the roles were reversed.

Well that doesn't quite make sense but you know what I mean.

I thought Jenas was about right, balanced and accurate, he clearly knew quite a bit about us. I’m not sure who the commentator was but he seemed to be complimentary in a very condescending way. Near the end when Hendo took the free kick he said something like ‘this is just like the Bassett days’. WTF? What team doesn’t pack the box when they’re looking for a late equaliser? (Possibly City, Arsenal or Liverpool on occasions). And apparently Warnock didn’t get us promoted.

Well well well, if there was ever an example of snowflake fans then Man City fans have taken that title. FUCK ME they've been wrapped in cotton wool.

I remember a trip to Maine Road was a decent and slightly dangerous day out. That club have sold its soul in return for a set of lightweight (albeit very good) set of players. The fans don't give a fuck anymore as was evident from their 90mins of silence and empty seats at home.

Man City used to be decent in League One. She'll of a club now from a fan/soul perspective.

Set of cunts.

Oh dear. Where have the proper city fans of old gone?
Remember them as loud and rough and ready at lane and S6 - not anymore.
Replaced by these mardy self entitled followers who believe their over paid players should be allowed to win every tackle without a challenge. In both our games with them their support was lacklustre & flat. Even man utd were louder and less mardy.
You're not City anymore!

Never a red. Not even these days.

I'd still have been annoyed. Straight through their man, no attempt to play the ball, and of course he was just back from injury, which won't affect the ref's decision but makes it seem worse.

Reminded me of Madine's sending off last season.
