Roy's View From... View From Man City

Thank you Roy, level headed remarks much like their pre-match comments, in general they seem OK. I'm some what deflated by that result, first time in a long, long time. It's not the loosing but the manner of it. OTB #21 summed it up well. VAR disallowed goal, VAR I don't go along with as I don't believe the mechanical and electronics of it are fit for purpose, and a referee who impedes play and hasn't the humility to admit his mistake, the man ought to hang his head in shame. Sad day for Football.

I care not, but good to see some of them also think that the VAR is fooking the game.

I had the same thoughts walking back from the pub (s). Back in the old days not too many opposition fans would have complained that Moooose was off side.

Still VAR gave us a corner to keep the balance......

Always good to see the view from elsewhere.

Cheers Roy. (subject to review- not)

UTB.

“He clearly gets in the way and causes us to get the ball, it is very unlucky for Sheffield and they’ve got every right to be aggrieved but the rules are the rules and seemingly the rules say play on if he doesn’t touch it”

Suppose we have been payed back for the Balloon goal now.

What goes around comes around.

Cheers Panchero!

A couple of fair views in amongst some dross.

It was their fucking balloon.
How is this payback?
Loon!

First Graham Poll, now this twat.

If this was our cross-city brethren a fully-blown conspiracy theory would have taken hold by now.

Its OK by all accounts ( Chris Wilder ) did not give worded details, but the Ref came to see him and said he had made an error, Wilder we all make mistakes.

Ah well onto the next game and see what happens in that.

Yes it was their balloon, well observed there were hundreds of em,if you cant see the "payback" then imagine yesterdays Ref was a balloon, another Manchester balloon at that.

The balloon redirected the ball into the path of Shelton who scored a goal.

Man City were not reyt happy about it

I know all that.
They had an opportunity to halt the game and sort the situation out.
How on earth can yesterday be payback for us when it was their own supporters that chucked the blue balloon on in the first place?

Your assertion that two separate incidents, years apart from each other, one created by city fans and not corrected by city players and match officials and the other created by an official interfering with play somehow equate to each other and even themselves out makes no logical sense.
what did you want Wilder to do - stick a pin in the ref?

Look closely they are both the same.

On that bombshell we will just have to agree to disagree.

Dick move. Ref could have cancelled the goal and pulled play back once our players got in his face. He had all the time in the world to see the error of his ways, but never did.

So really his apology to Wilder can be translated as "Sorry Chris, but you know us refs have a very strong mandate to find any opportunity we can to favour the top four sides. So actually I didn't make a mistake, I did exactly what I was supposed to do"

“In contrast to the Blades manager, Espirito for Wolves is pure class. Handles some tough questions with aplomb.”

Well Espirito, bless him, will probably soon have 100 mil to spend and first pick of the Portuguese U21s while we are in a fight for survival. Fuck right off you entitled City twat. See you at the Lane soon
