Do you think any Blades players get in the Leicester side?
I'm not having a dig, but when two sides are exceptionally organised, two of the best in the league, quality decides the games.....
Having 10 of the best 11 players on the pitch is a huge difference. Even Stevens who is clearly ahead of our young lad at left back, who has never come close to making our bench, had a worse game than his opposite number.

Vardy/Ndidi/Tielemans/Evans were just a level above imo, the difference between good premier league players, and excellent ones.

My username is a reference to my student digs when living in Sheffield.....
Had I been from Sheffield as a Wednesday fan, obviously I would live in Sheffield and wouldn't need digs to go uni there.

I've been to Hillsborough twice mind, in the away end.....
Whilst about 70 times to Bramall Lane, 3 times in the away end, of which one was this season when Barnes hit that screamer.

You’re agreeing with me basically. Your strength in depth is fantastic so to say it was a far bigger chance for us is a bit of a stretch considering.

I'm referencing him talking about the 'championship/league 1 players' comment.

It was a far bigger chance though, I expect Leicester to get 3 points against any side in Europe if they have 5 key players out.

My own view -

Surprisingly very comfortable.
The Blades must be disappointed how easy it was given both sides still have a lot to play for, and we had at least half 5 first teamers out.
Tonight was a performance from the Blades that was an example of what the pundits predicted/expected at the start of the season, rather than what Wilder and the players have shown all season.
Two organised sides with a clear plan, but an obvious individual quality between the two, even with us missing many key players.

Was very impressed with the young lad, Thomas. Great debut.

But I got told by an expert on here that without Soyuncu, Chilwell and Maddison they were there for the taking...

They are in the top 4 for a reason, they have a cracking squad and play good football when on song. No complaints, they never even allowed us to play. Sort’ve how we do the business when we’re on song also.

They were, if the real SUFC turned up. I didn’t recognize anyone, apart from Hendo.

I went on the train to Chesterfield market yesterday. Whilst waiting for the train back there was an announcement that due to the virus you should not travel to Leicester unless it was absolutely essential. I think the players took that advice and sent some pale imitations in their place.

Was very impressed with the young lad, Thomas. Great debut.

It wouldn't be unfair to suggest that nobody, unless a regular watcher of the academy lads, has any idea who he is.
Never got close to making the bench and there has never been any call for him being involved.

It's amazing what opportunities arise through having 3 full backs out injured.
It's given a huge opportunity to James Justin too, who we signed from Luton in the summer to hopefully integrate into the side over the next 2-3 years.

Can't remember the last time we had 4 academy players pushing for a place in the side (Chilwell, Barnes, Choudhury, Thomas).

There wasn’t many top sides trying to sign players from your squad when you first went back up! Apart from us taking Dean Hammond . Our squad will need improving in the next few seasons just like your squad did from the one that only just stayed up the first season back.

I'm not sure you can 'out me' as a Wednesday fan, I lack certain criteria for that.

Despite being in a comfortably superior position it must be depressing to spend so much time thinking about your city rivals......
Guess i'm lucky we dont really have any. Cov hate us, but we don't care and we hate Forest but they're too preoccupied with Derby.

Probably the price of success. Our rivals are now the biggest clubs in the Country, of which, we're now one.
