“I know it’s “only” Sheffield United – but that was a potential cock up. And we played well enough in the 2nd half that we didn’t need to knacker any of the 1st teamers on the bench. And could give Mendy and Knight a chance. Job done.”

Cunt!! Remember saying you were only small team in a slum when we smashed Filbert street up after destroying them. What goes around comes around, Leicester are no giant nor a big club. Having debts wiped (wrongly IMO) and gaining from that is the only reason they are where they are today. Turgid fucking club.

Fuck off Leicester, wankers went bust and carried on spending, fuck the rest. I look forward to them getting relegated in the next few years and thier plastic fans fucking off back to Pride Park or City Ground.

"Scintillating"

And that's coming from a team that won the Premiership recently. Wowzers!

Cheers Roy, appreciated as always mate:) I quite enjoyed the game tonight and didn't think we did too bad, their fans had a good night out so hopefully the view from is a balanced one, I'll head over and read it now:rolleyes:

Leicester fans were a bit giddy all game....3-1 up last 2 mins of injury time, get a 4th and almost go bat shit. I thought it was the lower league sides who got a bit pissy panty in the early rounds of this...whatever it's called this season...cup.

As I said in pre match post I know a few of there lot but since their one season wonder now think the're a fkg footballing super power !! Give em a season or 2 and we'll see you again minus yer 13000 Klingons

They were loving it. Kept goading us in the South Stand, but no one really cared. Oh and that Mexican wave they were doing was pathetic.

Their fans seemed to have a real high opinion of Leicester, signing about our crowd etc. often. If they were half of as big of a club as they think, there would be have been double the amount there, on Sky or not. We'll have 27k + there on Saturday against their bigger neighbours.

Do you think we'd be any different if we'd won the league?

There wouldn't be any room for John Street West Terrace's 13,000 klingons as we'd go up to the Prem averaging nearly 30k.

Leicester are a classic "Where were you when you were shit?" side.

Get a Thai owner, get free paper clappers on each seat and get lucky in their toytown stadium, that is only saved from being the worst modern ground, by Reading's 'Cathedral of Plastic'.

I like to think BB that I keep perspective on things from a personal level , yeh enjoy it while you can but don't build yourself up on the pedestal too high as it's a long way to fall . They are already a club that has peaked and the 'stars' are all starting to walk towards the exit doors so we'll see how long the billy big bollocks attitude from them lasts . Do I think they have good loyal core support .. no

Cheers Weirdo...

The truth is, they'll carry their title as Prem Champs around for years, simply because they'll have little else to crow about. Can't blame 'em I suppose, after all, winning the Prem under such circumstances was pretty spectacular and at least gave 'lesser' teams the dream that one day they'll too become champions.

There's a cockiness and arrogance that I can understand, they play in the Prem and have some decent to good players.....but time is a funny thing and who knows how they'll cope once their best payers have left? Patience everyone, Leicester in the Prem today, tomorrow United to either join 'em or, dare I dream, to take their place!

Under Wilder we'll grow and improve. Players will arrive and players will leave, and that is where we'll see this club grow. UTMB!

I get that and maybe much of my dislike toward them is simple envy. Little unfancied provincial club does well and all that.

Mahrez is looking a bit like he may already have had his best season and the jailbird pig isn't getting any younger. A couple of years of crap recruitment with overpaid foreign mercenaries ala Mackhems and who knows where they will be.

No sympathy from me though, as I sit on the French Riviera supping champers and awaiting our Chumpions League semi with Monaco.....

They did win the title to be fair. But yeah, they've definitely peaked, it'll be a strange existence for them now.

Surely if we won the league, that'd be it in terms of banter between us and our local rivals for the foreseeable. We'd drop that fucker and there'd be no worthwhile comeback.

I get your meaning coco, I try not to be envious of anyone, so my only concern is that Wilder is given the support we need to improve and progress.
You're right about players like Mahrez. No doubt he's gifted, but it's a fact that talented players get sussed after one season and they often find their opponents are more difficult to play against. When that happens getting a decent price for them is probably the best outcome.

Sometimes, it's like a coming together of factors that make their 'special' season possible. Personally I enjoyed it, they pushed the 'giants' aside as they went on to become Champions. What follows should be treated with class, not stupid arrogance. I hope we'll act accordingly should we achieve something similar. UTB!

After one goal, a few of them had the shirts off and waving em around like they'd won the cup:eek:
..and they have 1000's of those nasty clapper things at home games..very peculiar imo
it's almost like they're the underdogs after beating a bigger team

Must be quite confusing for them, tbf. Imagine being used to who you are, then flying into the history books and then falling away in the same time-frame. Bet they don't know if they're coming or going. Gonna be a lot of confused kids growing up around Leicester over the next few years, too.

Cheers Royston, at least they recognise talent when they see it, Brooksy living up to the hype

But let are currently stuffing Blackburn. 20 years ago, Blackburn fans were singing "we'll never play you again". What goes around, comes around .
