"We improved second half, but still looked venerable"

Handball was not deliberate but diverted the ball from our player so probably a pen.

While we're making our own rules up, the ref should've sent a couple of Leeds players off for giving funny looks.

“Sharp was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch followed by their little blonde fella in midfield”

wtf was heck thinking appointing O’Kane as captain? He was utterly useless. What happened to the “new manager bounce”? wow we really impressed our manager”

Cheers Roy.
We are the bounce killers!

Duffy was the best player on the pitch by a mile.

Sharp worked hard and took his chances*, which is what Sharp does. It’s always a little bit more enjoyable when Sharp scores.

*difficult to pick an appropriate phrase when one is a penalty and the other is a spectacular volley.

Another fan who hasn't grasped one of the fundamental laws of the game. If it wasn't deliberate then it's not a pen.

We deserved the win. Was more a friendly than a derby imo, their support was dogshit. See you next year and thanks for not ripping our seats out this time.

“A team with Leon Clarke and Billy Sharp as its strike force getting promoted would be embarrassing for the league.” :D

But he's right! It's a known fact that, to succeed, you need proven quality. Like Fletcher, Hooper and Forestieri. Not those players who nobody had heard of a few months ago at Wolves...

And this is where that rule is bollocks and needs changing.

The only person who can say it was deliberate is the player.
So it's 'in the opinion of the ref' in which case it the ref could give anything. Fortunately his opinion was that it wasn't yesterday. I agree. It barely touched him for that matter.

Surprised none of them mentioned Evans could have got a second yellow in the corner ,I think the whole of John st held their breath.

I haven't seen it again yet, but from the KOP I thought Evans was unlucky with the first booking and their player jumped in too.

Just how long did O Kane moan to the ref about the pen for, bleeding ages, kept on moaning while Bily was setting up to take it, right next to him which I thought was gamesmanship too far, and then the twat was still moaning to the ref as they ran back for Leeds to kick off, how he never booked him still baffles me.

The keeper was doing silly jumps and shaking the net up and down. I thought he put himself off rather than being mentally ready to try and save it.
