Never stops someone claiming that a defender “could have got back to cover” though does it. I think O’Neill said exactly that. Then they’ll talk about last man.

If people want to argue about the contact then fair enough, but why does he go down when he’s through on goal. It’s a red card, plain and simple. The referee didn’t even have to think about it. It’s a very simple rule.
