Extremely successful in the late 70s and 80s then their frontman died and now they are just limping on despite knowing it's never going to be as good as it once was. Their fans go to the new shows but deep down they know they are just trying to relive the past by watching a tired and bland version of what went before.

AND, despite today’s revisionism, Queen were always pompous, overblown shite, even in their heyday.

The first three albums were trying something different, and Sheer Heart Attack is pretty decent in parts. Otherwise, they were always bland establishment fodder. Frankly, I’m baffled at their hipness these days.
