incredible
is a ridiculously over-used word. Often to mean the opposite of what it actually means.
Like had to like give you a likeCorrected that for you

Couldn't agree more, palFuck there's some right miserable cunts on this thread.....
If all most of you have to worry about is being called pal or mate then your life pretty nice indeed.![]()
Only had a quick skim through but I am very confused. Where is the view from Jim Chimmerney or did I miss it?
PS Any recent members don't reply - just for the old timers.
This is what you get when you have an education system that doesn't care about standards and hands qualifications out as a right, rather than a privilege.
Sorry got lost somewhere in the middle, pal.......Cool. So, I did, like, reply, like literally a few hours ago, you must have, like, missed it mate![]()
Sorry got lost somewhere in the middle, pal.......
It was the "View from Fleetwood" that confused me. I thought you had changed your name back.

Yep, I'd love to work behind a bar and say "no you can't, I'll get it for you. That's what I'm paid for"The one that really pisses me off is people who say 'can I get', instead of ' can I have'.
My son says this and I pull him about it every time I hear it. He's my lad and I love him, but when he comes out with 'can I get' I could gladly punch his head
straight off his shoulders.
Others for the list; kinda, gotten, for sure, I guess........the list is getting endless.
And don't ever try to 'high five' me or call me a 'guy', you may end up in hospital and I'll end up doing time!
Wow, this thread is very unique
I hate that - there are no degrees of uniqueness
Something is unique, or it isn't
Yes. I agree "very unique" is certainly otiose. But, on the other hand "close to" or "nearly" unique is academically acceptable. "This may not be the only one of it's kind but it's one of only two or three" would permit the above description, in my view.
and using 'like' as a pause, starting every sentence with 'so'.........
