I think I've given more thought about the merits of different brands of pasta sauce than I have about Derby County in the past few years. To be fair though, I think they'll go up a notch or two now. The nobs among their fanbase bleating on about Billy being "classless"whilst simultaneously waving away the widespread chants from their own fans as just "bants" mean I might be keen to see if they continue to get done over.

The decent ones among their fanbase don't deserve what's going on over there but the other twats do. Every club has its wankers mind.

Leeds have been more a rival to us over the last twenty years. Bigger club and more fans. there’s an actual real rivalry.

Whereas the so-called rivalry from the pigs is beginning to look a bit one way.

They had a not to be forgotten season when Ched was wrongly convicted resulting in a lucky promotion for them and us languishing for a few seasons below them.

Bit really that has turned out to be a bit of a freak anomaly.

Let them fester competing amongst suitable rivals such as Doncaster and Rotherham while we concentrate on more worthy rivals.

To be honest I know a lot of Spireites who don’t grove a sh!te about Derby either, despite being in the same county. Another one-club city who try to invent rivalries for some reason, their obsession with trying to start one with Leeds being the best example.

I'm sure Leeds United fans, watching their team in the Premier League, are losing sleep at night wondering what an insignificant little midlands club are up to.

You support team that's financially bust. You're team cannot sign anyone. You're fans copy all other fans songs. You're bottom of the league on minus points. You're more than likely going to be relegated.

it also amazes me how people use the last man argument against a red card. Just shows they have no idea what the rule is.

It’s a red card if a player denies a clear goal scoring opportunity. That’s not to say that it will automatically be a goal just that it would lead to a clear goal scoring opportunity. The ball fell to Osborn who beat a defender and only had a defender on the line to beat. Obviously a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Particularly when the "last man" isn't the last man, he's usually the last outfielder and the goal scoring opportunity is a one-on-one with the keeper. In this case, the keeper is out of the picture so the goal scoring opportunity was against a Derby player who couldn't use his hands (or arms) to stop the shot. It's an even clearer GSO than normal.

Outside view but a lot of their fans seem to claim that EFL have a vendetta against them and some seem to believe it feeds into officiating.

All nonsense of course but then, they don't strike me as a terribly bright fanbase.

My last post is a bit strong perhaps but I have less sympathy for them than many clubs in their position.

Their fans seem less than up with the basic regs, the conspiracy theories are risible, the constant wrangling and attempts to evade some level of justice, some of their fans pondering yet more theoretical loopholes. All stacks up.
