Some interesting comments, quite deluded with their comments about Billy being a league one striker 😂

The songs they were apparently singing about Billy are disgusting, just like the one many were singing at Hull about Bannan. No need for it, crosses a line and it’s not banter. Billy’s reaction and post match comments are spot on.

So little rivalry with Derby, they’re just a fairly local team and are one of the bigger teams in the league, for now. So it’s always going to be a big game in this division. They just need to get over their piggy style delusion.

A good mate of mine is a derby fan so it’s good to get one over on them

All rent free in Sharp's head 😆 Needless to say they had the last laugh

They seem to trying to spin it to make it seem like they got one over on Billy because they got a reaction.

But they only got that reaction because he'd scored the fucking winner and bagged us three points.

You'd think those points would be more important for a club in their position over winding up a player for reasons known only to them.

What a set of morons. Really hope they sink without a trace. Usually I feel sympathy for fans when their club has shafted them, but the sheer amount of morons singing that crap about Billy (or any other player) when totally unjustified is unacceptable and I know we have a fair amount of cretins that do similar. What's up with these idiots???

Anyway Derby, hope you enjoyed your ramming yesterday? Down you go please...

Oh aye, because Billy should be banned - he started it, didn't he?

For those decent fans with whom you could have a sup on a match day, you don't deserve this to your historic club, it deserves to be well run.

To those knuckle draggers singing unfounded and offensive nonsense for no reason, I hope you enjoy L1 and/or go bust.

“Billy Sharpe needs banning for that reaction to our fans”

No, but the Window lickers who were singing that vile shite need to be. In what world is it ok to do that? I don’t blame Billy for his reaction; along with the goal, was the best reply. UTB

All the Derby fans I know - and I know a lot of them - always wanted Billy to sign for them, so much of their chagrin is sour grapes that he’s with us and has scored more against them than any other club in the Championship.

Also most of the Derby fans I know are sound, but there are a few who are fucking idiots, like at every club. They generally think of Forest in the same way that we think of the unclean - deluded and think they’re still something they’re not.

You want to call a player a sex offender all game and falsely insinuate he's a rapist, then cry when he shoves it back in your face at the end.

I was going to try and reply with some almost witty bit of Two Ronnies wordplay about shoving it back in your face, but I quickly lost interest, just as I did in the game itself.

As for Derby, it's a drab, featureless, bland city with a football club that, just like its hated neighbour, was briefly successful for a while only because it happened to employ a certain manager. Both ourselves and they thought that by trying his son in the manager's job we may be able to share the voodoo, with predictable results.

It's hard to wish any ill-will on them because they are just so *eq50u7=sd

Sorry about that, I dozed off while trying to write about Derby County and fell head first into my keyboard.

Have a like for the use of 'chagrin'. Class

Hardly a mental atmosphere from the away end. They're talking about it like it was their best away day in years. Barely heard them other than the odd weird chant about Billy Sharp. Seen much better.

Possibly a bit harsh but just frustrates me as we all know how passionate our fans are and how electric the atmosphere can be but just doesn’t seem to be happening this year. To be fair, theres a lack of songs for our first 11 and manager. Only heard mcburnie, brewster and sharp getting chant
They’re right about our fans. What’s happened to the atmosphere. After GCB song, there’s no singing for the rest of the match. Is quite embarrassing tbh for a club of our size

Genuine question, how many chants did you try to start or even join in with? UTB

It’s tension that’s all. We’re so desperate to go back up we get very critical of mistakes. It’s easier to create an atmosphere when there’s no pressure on you.

Amazed how many of them think it want a red.

I was listening on the Derby iPlayer and after a few replays of MGW going down they realized he had his foot trodden on. They then made the point it was fine not being a pen as these things even themselves out as the sending off was harsh!

All that covering defender nonsense. Billy knew what he was doing. He tapped it to the side of Roos, who took him out. If Roos hadn't been there ready to clatter him then Billy would have continued baring down on goal. Billy was the furthest forward with no defender near him. To suggest a defender would have got there ignores the fact that would only have happened if Roos impeded him, which meant he denied a clear scoring opportunity and had to walk.

That said, Osborn got there and slammed it in the net. So not only does that refute that one but they were also lucky the ref didn't play on and allow the goal.

Not quite on Ozzy. I thought that at the time but Derby had stopped at the whistle before he put it in.

it also amazes me how people use the last man argument against a red card. Just shows they have no idea what the rule is.

It’s a red card if a player denies a clear goal scoring opportunity. That’s not to say that it will automatically be a goal just that it would lead to a clear goal scoring opportunity. The ball fell to Osborn who beat a defender and only had a defender on the line to beat. Obviously a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Their Goalkeeper rushes out of his area and legs Sharp over to prevent him having the simple task of popping it into an empty net, and they want the ref to ignore it or give him a yellow???!!! A red card AND an automatic penalty award in those circumstances would be about right. Then some of the numpties seem to think an attempt to change the game's rules to include volley ball is beyond bizarre.
Then, to cap it off, they bleat (sheep taught them that?) about their bad luck at hitting the post when clearly it was actually a brilliant fingertip save.
PS - When Wigan sent us down with Jags's penalty, did any of us claim it wasn't a pen?
