Their best players are Mount and Wilson - neither of which are theirs or they can afford to buy.

Once Huddlestone went off they were pretty clueless as that stopped the supply to Mount and Wilson.
Hendo had nowt to do yesterday except wrestle with Keogh - which was Keogh's best contribution of the game

Did we get a penalty? Silly cunts all banging on about a penalty that wasn't given against them. I don't get that one. Nowt said about the shite defending that let Goldie get through though was there? Stupid fuckers!

“If no investment in better players is forthcoming we’ll continue going nowhere.” “We’ve spent 15 mill. How much more do we need?!”

Theres 1 thing us say we need money in January transfer window but come on derby saying that is like man utd saying we need more money. 15/16 16/17 17/18 they'd spent 59m & then another 11m this season + all the expensive Chelsea loans. I think we only spent 40/45m on transfers since premier league started

conned the ref into booking Keogh

Is he having a laugh starting a fight with our goalkeeper. Was stonewall violent conduct he lost control keogh saw red & shouldve seen red. He shouldve been thankful it only yellow. A Christmas gift from the ref

Are Derby bland? They’re from an unfashionable spot, haven’t won much, and spend a lot of time at this level whilst harking back to the 70s.

Familiar?

They've spent £15m, on fucking what? Marriott looks lovely, but beyond that?

Their best two players are loanees Mount and Wilson who are fast, skilful and interlink well but don't muck in defensively and are naive. They go back at the end of the season.

Oh I just remembered, some of it was on Waghorn...

As has been said, give Wilder that and he'll take you up.

Lampard is absolutely full of shite, read an article in the paper where he claims that Derby are "the poor relations" of the promotion race. Am I missing something or have, in fact, us and Norwich to name but two spent less than them?
Imagine if Wilder had, let’s say just 4 of their star players in our squad. We’d probably be top of the league. They’ve got a brilliant squad on paper but Lampard will probably turn out to be a bang average manager.

Def, I like your montage of sheep, but I fear there is an imposter in the ranks. That first beast looks like a goat to me.

I can tell, because I live with one. :tumbleweed:...............

“Fair play to Sheff Utd. Proper club and fans, highlighted if it was ever needed how shit our home support is, got behind their team, shouted for everything and made it hostile, everything we don’t. Pulled their team through”

For everyone that keeps saying our home support is poor.
If you took a poll of all visiting supporters, teams and pundits alike.A BDTBL in full voice will come out on top for atmosphere every time. These souless newish bowl type stadiums don’t stand a chance against somewhere like the lane. They have to create “singing areas” whereas our great atmospheres are for more organic.

Organic yes, but sadly only flowers about twice a year. :(

He was a lucky fella later on when we got a free kick just outside their box.

he gently lobbed the ball into the refs face - think at the time he booked Tomori, but Keogh was a lucky fella

In a very uncharitable, non-Christmassy mood, I'm consistently appalled by the standard of of officiating in the Championship. Today (away at Sheffield United) Marriott was twice through on goal in the centre of the pitch and wrongly given offside. At 0-0 when that first goal makes all the difference...

Then, every single person in the ground and on the pitch, bar the referee, saw Billy Sharp touch the ball back to Carson yet he gives a backpass, and books Carson and Nugent as a result. One of many occasions when the referee lost control of the game.

Five yellow cards, Tomori for being elbowed in the face by Sharp, Keogh for trying to get on with the game, Carson and Nugent for the backpass that wasn't and then Harry Wilson.

Last match a stonewall penalty not given early in on against the gumps for the kick high into Lawrence's chest.

It's clear we need VAR and quickly. But we don't half seem to have utterly dreadful officials.

........

Just read that on their forum. Whilst I agree the poster has a point it’s funny how he fails to mention the fact we could’ve gone 2 nil up and them go down to 10 men just before they scored from a free kick.

Interesting interpretation
Keogh trying to get on with the game by shoving our keeper through the netting
Nugent booked for a backpass or possibly for calling the 4th official a cunt
If tomori was booked for being elbowed by Billy Sharp I am a Dutchman both of Marriotts chances were offside and Keogh and wilson were very lucky not to get second yellows
Oh and Keogh is a mongy faced cunt

Reading their comments show deluded some of this big teams really are. It’s good to see how so many other football clubs are so out of touch with us.

The comment on Leeds made me laugh. Every time Leeds play they says how well Leeds control the possession apart from at Sheffield united.

Might be wrong here, usually am, but that looks like some sigh-ber espionage afoot. Put in, Chinee or some other clan in read.
Utterly dreadful.

"Our wingers did not do enough to combat the threat of Sheffield United’s wing backs. Time and time again Bogle and Wisdom were left in two on one"

That's what overlapping centre backs do for you.

Anyone would have thought Fat Frank might have prepared them better, considering he claimed to have 'watched Sheff United a lot' in the build up to the previous game

Perhaps the victory at their place made him/them a tad complacent? :D

"Sheff Utd along with Sunderland have to be the blandest teams in the country.”

WTF?

You're just a shit Notts (sic) Forrest :p:p:p
THere were 46,000 at Sunderland for their boxing day game in league one !!
