I am sure most on here will know of Roygbiv's legendary "View from......." threads on BladesMad which follow each SUFC game. Roygbiv takes comments from the opposition teams footy boards, groups them together and posts them for the rest of us to read and comment on. It also gives us an insight to what the opposition thought of us.
Roygbiv has kindly given me the OK to copy and post on his behalf with a view (I hope) of him making it a feature for us. So please let me know if you would like to see this as a regular feature, I will give Roygbiv feedback but I am sure he will be looking in! So here goes, comments after last nights game against Ceawley.

"United came for a draw and we gave them a win. Basic football rule. If you are having trouble breaking a team down make sure you keep it tight at the back. It doesn't mean pass to the opposition forward standing alone on the penalty spot or spraying a forty yard crossfield pass to set up the opposition winger.Very odd refereeing. Happy with him playing advantage but he then didn't go back and book the player. 2 for them and 2 for us. The booking at the end for the Blades centre half was comedy relief. The ref blew for a foul for interference on the keeper when kicking the ball out (incorrectly as the player was a good five yards away) but he didn't explain it to the centre half who didn't know where to take the free kick from. Result? Yellow card. Reason? Poor ref.
Fair play to the Blades. They were better than us tonight."
We played the better football. Two defence mistakes. Awful ref both ways to be honest there penalty shout secondhalf was a dead cert. That said Utd defened well and in numbers.Clough your boys dived, kicked the ball away every opportunity, hoofed and general style of play was non football but hey you got 3pts and are going to wembley so I doubt your fans care."
"don't think there was any difference between the sides. We were not out passed, out thought or out fought. To me - Cloughs tactics were spot on. Pack the midfield / defence and play one up front. Then absorb pressure and hit on the break. 1-0 at half time and why change the tactics? Play the same second half and win 2-0.
We couldn't get though or round them and they took their chances. "
"The difference was Sheffields back 4 of Plenty, Bounty, Thirst Pockets and Ultra. Absorbed near enough everything."
"Thought first half good football played on both sides, they had one attack and scored , we we were moving the ball around on the ground and had plenty of possession but lacked movement in the final third.
Has to be said S.U. defended well and took their two chances, there second was very well taken, can see why they are moving up the league. Could not see us scoring despite the possession we had. "
