I thought that, but then I watched the video of us tonking Spurs (in the 'Scoring/Conceding 6' thread) and the first goal in that game, in particular, is even worse. Indeed, most of the goals in that game were shocking. Have a look, a short corner is rolled into Carr, two defenders run past him, he turns under no pressure and finds the far top corner.
Scougall's goal was terrible from a County point of view, though. First of all there is no pressure on the player receiving the short corner, then someone fails to step up to catch Scougall offside, then he wanders into the area unabated, then Alan Smith, of all people, just stands and watches instead of closing him down. Absolutely a team that had given up.
