There were 2,936 Blades there last night according to Notts County.

The Jimmy Sirrel stand holds 5405 for football. So that is 2469 empty seats - Yeah right!

I moved down that end for the second half and did indeed see the people in question, except for the lass, who I didn't notice, never mind see her flashing.

The stewards were remarkably mature and lenient with the kid, with one in particular advising him to not give another one an excuse to get rid of him.

I have to admit there did look a lot more than what they said were there, a lot more.

Now i'm not too fussed how many we took as i think it was fantastic support either way, but looking at these 2 pictures, i think there is more than a bit of controversy over how many we actually took. You make your own minds up though, i just thought i'd put it out there for you to discuss without starting another thread.

We were sat just above the Blades dug out and there was a block to the left that was totally empty and then a few rows at the front that must have been cordoned off. It certainly looked like there were a lot there.
We soon discovered that there were probably 20 or so Blades around us when Murphy scored.
