"We know we're light on height at the moment"

When precisely have been heavy on height this season? I'm really starting to believe he hasn't got the foggiest.

I've lost faith in the fella

We're going nowhere, despite bringing in 20 odd players, spending £2m + in Jan and the revelation we would be stronger in the second half of the season

Imo, Dingles will finish above us and I suspect at least one of the other from the chasing pack will as well

6 wins from 19 with our resource simply isn't good enough Cloughy

At least it will save us another wasted trip to a play off final. As John Cleese once said "its not the disappointment it's the hope" that's difficult to deal with.

With the time, money and players he has had at his disposal anything less then finishing 6th in this league is a disaster in my opinion.

If I was in charge of the club, I would be seriously considering NC's future at the club. Not just because of the results, but his attitude is becoming Blackwell-esque.

Not in the least bit surprised that he is happy with that, I take absolutely no notice of him anymore, he won't be manager of this club come xmas anyway so why get worked up over him? Dead man walking who doesn't even know it.

To think we could be playing, and losing to Burton Albion next season. That's right up there with Fleetwood.

His view on the walsall game has already been written

Well we lost 2-0 which to some is a little disappointing but to not me, we played well and my favourite Jay Mac doesn`t mean to drop 3000 clangers every game, the goals were the fault of the fan in row 10 and also Collins, yes Collins, i know he wasn`t playing but we keep dropping points because of his performances at swindon and chesterfield. I thought the 2 shots on target we had was worth the admission price alone. The fans keep telling me to play 2 up front and fast wingers who can cross, it doesn`t work in this league, well apart from the top 4 clubs and the 6 or 7 below us, and a few more, but it doesn`t work for just us in this league and Coutts is the answer. We knew Walsall would be tough and you have to give these big clubs respect and not attack them, any man with a football brain knows that.

We're Blades and we love biting and intelligent satire. Give us more Ken.

In the space of a minute he managed to find 2 players to name and shame. Poor management, I thought he had a bit more about him than that.

The penny has to be dropping now for clough. When he says missing at the moment he has to mean that's where I've been going wrong.

You need ugly 6'5+centre backs to get out of this league. A Rob Jones type that got donny and the filth up and a Llera type rugby player / defender who can both not only clear danger and command the box but also chip in with 5-10+ between them at the other end.

Erm. We've lost to both THIS season
4-0 at Burton - that's where Collins and Butler fucked up their Blades careers

If only it was satire, this stubborn narrow view of Clough is slowly numbing all the senses. Clough lives on another planet, planet keepitfuckingtight (between Saturn and Uranus and alongside planet anotherwastedchance). I didn`t expect Clough to be a success here, but the latter part of last season gave me cause for optimism, but a safety first negative tactic means games can fall anyway, win, lose or draw and this season the losses and draws are building up substantially. The methods of the top four teams, to attack poorer teams usually means win, win, win, lose, win, win, draw, win etc. There`s a lesson there Nigel.

He's just teasing us in anticipation of the heroic and glorious play-off final triumph
